Episode 1: Lights, Camera Action
With Lu's part on the soapie becoming bigger, Portia gets Selimathunzi to do an insert on him and the family. She is adamant about portraying her family as the "perfect" family but things change as Koko unexpectedly returns from Cape Town.
Episode 2: Moustache Man
Mandla and Portia find out that Lu is getting bullied at school and Mandla tries to teach Lu how to fight whilst Lovers tells Lu that the only way to fight off a bully is by growing a moustache.
Episode 3: My Rights
Lovers and Lu attempt to exploit Human Rights Day in order to get out of homework and get to a braai. Mandla is obligated to attend Koko's Human Rights Day function at the community hall, but tries to worm his way out of it.
Episode 4: Guess Who Is Coming For Easter
Portia's competitive sister, who always had a crush on Mandla, comes over. The family has to act normal, as her sister doesn't know that she's divorced.
Meanwhile Lu is in a panicked state, thinking he is spending his last days on earth and frantically tries to get everyone to see the seriousness of the issue.
Episode 5: Shall We Dance
Portia and Mandla find a ballroom competition in the local paper, with big prize money. Lu sets them up to work together; convincing them that they need the prize money.
Meanwhile, Koko has to sell some face creams for some extra cash but struggles until Jo-man gives her a great marketing idea in return for a cut of her share of the money.
Episode 6: Lu turns 13
It's the week of Luyanda's 13th birthday and no-one in the Nkosi house cares to find out what Lu wants for his birthday even though he tries very hard to tell them.
Lover's manages to get DJ Fresh at the party under the false pretences that the party is for a kid that is terminally ill.
Episode 7: Fever Blues
Portia and Mandla get the flu and regress to childlike behaviour, forcing Thando and Lovers to take care of them.
Meanwhile, Koko and Jo-man start a homemade medicine business but things get out of hand when customers start developing strange illnesses as a result of the medication.
Episode 8: Power to the People
Koko is upset about the lack of the municipal services, and so is Portia. Portia considers running for public office to fix this system and when Koko announces that she is running, Portia is spurred to action and runs against her.
Episode 9: Meet the Khumalos
With the arrival of the new neighbours right across the street from the Nkosi's, comes some chaos as the Khumalo family seems all too perfect. For the first time ever, Portia and Koko work towards a common goal; to get the Khumalos destroyed.
Episode 10: The BFF
Thando gets a new 'Best Friend Forever,' causing Lu and Lovers to question how well they know each other. Koko becomes a hypochondriac which prompts her to become obsessed with her death whilst Jo-man starts stealing water from the house for a new local swimming pool venture.
Episode 11: Love Tutorial
Lu's marks drop because he is over worked on set. Portia hires a tutor and she falls for him. Mandla is very worried that Portia is moving on before he does so he enlists Jo-man's and Koko's help to find him a girlfriend.
Episode 12: The Graduate
After the family discovers that Jo-man has passed matric Mandla decides to throw him a Matric Dance. Thando is pressured to finally bring her boyfriend in to meet her parents but Lovers is determined to sabotage Thando's relationship with Zakes.
Episode 13: The Clothes Are On Fire
Lu overhears Portia on the phone talking to a client and thinks that she plans on moving out with her new boyfriend. He tries everything in his power to stop this. Koko sets Mandla up on a series of dates to try make him get over Portia.
Episode 14: He Loves Me He Loves Me Not
Themba proposes to Portia, and Lu is a bit stressed. Lovers tells Lu he can use the situation to his advantage and the boys pit Themba against Mandla.
Meanwhile, Koko assumes that Portia is moving out and she starts packing away Portia's belongings.
Episode 15: It's Just like Plumbing
Portia isn't dealing well with her breakup from Themba and Lu is spending too much time in his room, which leads Jo-man and Mandla to draw their own conclusions on what Lu is doing behind closed doors.
Thando has an accident with Portia's car and tries to cover it up with Lovers's help.
Episode 16: YOLO
Mandla is about to turn 40 but isn't dealing with it well. He soon becomes obsessed with trying to prove his youth by wearing outrageous clothes, using the internet slang, partying till late and even getting a face tattoo.
Episode 17: The Scene Stealer
Lu fears that the new kid actor working on his soapie is out to get rid of him. Koko decides to enter Jika Majika in order to win the prize but she needs to brush up on her dancing skills.
Jo-man discovers the power of the credit card and as Thando shows him how to use it, he becomes more and more reckless with it.
Episode 18: Neighbourhood Watch
After a few break-ins in the neighbourhood, Mandla and Jo-Man decide to start a
neighbourhood watch, but are both completely inept at running it. Lovers meets a girl and starts dating her and Thando becomes jealous.
Episode 19: The Derby
Lu's solar powered remote control car gets selected to go to a prestigious science fair. Mandla promises to go with him until Jo-man says he has tickets to a soccer derby on the same day.
After Thando is selected to be a finalist in a new Ms Diepkloof beauty pageant Portia decides to coach her.
Episode 20: Never Too Old
Portia accidentally injures Jo-Man and out of guilt decides to take care of him. Jo-Man starts to get used to Portia's generosity and when he discovers he is healed, he carries on pretending to still be injured to get special treatment from her.
Episode 21: Eau De Korobela
Thando falls for a delivery guy and invites him over for dinner on the same night that she's invited Zakes.
Lovers stumbles upon a spray that Lu created that makes women irresistible to any man. He decides to try it on Thando but it's exposure on the women in the house creates chaos.
Episode 22: It's Tradition
A letter of intention to marry Thando arrives at the Nkosi household. Mandla decides that he and Jo-Man, with the help of Lovers are going to practice Lobola negotiations.
After getting the news of Thando possibly getting married, and a challenge from Koko, Portia decides to teach Thando the traditions of being a Makoti.
Episode 23: The Doorhandle
When Lu goes away on a school camp, Portia and Mandla are accidently locked up in his room. The pressure cooker situation forces them to expose certain truths about their feelings for each other.
Meanwhile, Thando hears that Jo-man is working close to a celebrity and becomes obsessed with uncovering who it is.
Episode 24: The Job
In a bizarre attempt to get out of doing house work on the weekend, Lu and Lovers decide that they're Jewish, but their plan becomes more trouble than it's worth. Koko and Jo-Man decide to make money by going into the recycling business.
Episode 25: Class Captain
Lu and Lovers battle it out against each other in the race to become Class Captains. Mandla is fed up with Jo-Man's work ethic and he decides to hire another assistant, much to Jo-man's dismay.
Episode 26: The Lottery
Lu comes up with an Algorithm on how to win the Lotto which actually works. This leads to the entire family treating the potential winnings differently.
Portia and Mandla eventually decide to sell the house, in order to get a bigger one, so that their lives can begin from scratch...
