Season 1
Dhani Tackles the Globe is an American documentary television series hosted by NFL linebacker Dhani Jones of the Cincinnati Bengals, which follows Jones around the globe as he learns how to play international sports and simultaneously explores the culture of each location.
The series aired in the USA on the Travel Channel from 19 March, 2009 to 21 June, 2010. There are 20 hour-long episodes in two seasons.

Season 1 aired on Top One from 1 June to 3 August, 2011, on Wednesdays at 20h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 10 episodes in the first season.
Synopsis
Dhani Jones will need more than shoulder pads where he's going. This NFL linebacker and Renaissance man is about to embark on a global sports odyssey that will take him anywhere with a scoreboard.
By trying his hand at beloved national pastimes from around the globe, Dhani explores the way sports help to define culture. As a top athlete, Dhani will be able to demonstrate the thrills and challenges of each game by playing it himself.
Off the field, Dhani immerses himself fully in each city, getting the locals' take on the best places to eat, drink, shop and sleep.
Throughout his travels, Dhani finds the love of sports to be universal, providing common ground wherever he lands.
