Season 3
Loyiso Gola, the anchor of Late Nite News, and his team of comedians return for a brand-spanking new season.
Season 3 plans on leaving viewers in stitches by exposing the usual embarrassing moments in South African politics and "taking the mickey" out of local and international current affairs by putting their own comedic spin on newsworthy stories.
The new season promises viewers a high dose of comedic entertainment as the usual characters return and a few new ones are introduced.
The show picks up where it left off, scrutinising the news and exposing any holes in a current affairs story. Viewers can expect to see the same mix of rib-tickling and subversive sketch, improvised, interactive and pre-packaged comedy.
The regular cast of Loyiso Gola, David Kibuuka and Riaad Moosa, with the recent inclusion of the character Chester, combine to form a comedic recipe that promises laughter and tears.
The international news report is done by David Kibuuka - who travels extensively on the show, yet has found himself in very few places that are not "shit" - the considered second opinion of the resident Doctor Moosa and the cantankerous political analyses and insults of Chester Missing bring a new bag of tricks to the fore.
The new season will feature guest stars in the form of some of the country's most accomplished comedians and also introduce some of the up and coming talent to television.
Viewers can look forward to Loyiso Gola conducting guest interview segments in each show with guest comedians live in studio.
South Africa's outspoken, unadulterated, unapologetic comedic commentary news show is back with a bang.
