Season 3
The F Word is a British food magazine and cooking show produced by Optomen Television and featuring chef Gordon Ramsay which covers a wide range of topics, from recipes to food preparation and celebrity food fads.
The series premiered in the UK on Channel Four on 27 October, 2005. There are 36 hour-long episodes in four seasons to date.
The F Word originally premiered in South Africa on DStv's BBC Food channel on Monday 16 October 2006, at 20h00.
Synopsis
Hosted by Gordon Ramsay - with restaurant critic Giles Coren - The F Word is the ultimate guide to all things food.
Filmed in the glamorous F Word restaurant, based in central London, each show turns the kitchen into a high-octane environment and where celebrity guests enjoy the culinary masterpieces created on-site by Gordon and his brigade.
Viewers watch with bated breath as the chefs-to-be fight it out to win the ultimate prize - a training contract with Gordon.
Each contestant wants the chance to learn from the best, and must face a weekly test of their ability in order to be taken on by Gordon full-time.
The F Word also tackles various food and restaurant related issues. Gordon Ramsay isn't one to keep his opinions to himself, and his campaigns have been cause for much debate around the world.
