Synopsis
The Tyra Banks Show is a one-hour, daily talk show focusing on the dreams, hopes and challenges of today’s young women.
The goal is to empower women to be the best that they can be – for themselves, their families and their communities.
Every day, Tyra speaks to real women – and sometimes men, too – providing insight into topics that affect their lives.
From relationships, family, self-esteem and lifestyle issues to topical news, celebrities and pop culture, Tyra tackles a broad range of material, both in the studio and in the field.
The show covers the specific issues that Tyra and her generation of women are facing, with in-studio guests and personal, real-life stories from the field, which give viewers an unfiltered and often emotional look at people’s lives.
The Tyra Banks Show addresses everything from finding “the one” to getting married, deciding if and when to have kids, and balancing often-demanding lives.
In the end, Tyra hopes to provide young women with both the building blocks and an action plan they need to make their lives better.
Things Tyra has gotten up to include hanging out at a strip club with strippers to see what it's like being a stripper, going into a woman's prison to interview inmates and going out in a 300 pound suit to see how overweight people are treated.
Other topics the show features include health and beauty tips, teens getting honest, relationships and sex, modelling and America's Next Top Model.
