Season 4
Futurama is an American animated sci-fi sitcom created by Matt Groening and developed by Groening and David X. Cohen for the Fox network which follows the adventures of a late 20th-century New York City pizza delivery boy who, after being cryogenically frozen for a thousand years, finds employment at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company in the 31st century.
Futurama, as the name suggests, is set in the distant future. In 1999, Phillip J. Fry (or Fry for short), a New York City pizza delivery man, accidentally cryogenically freezes himself, only to be accidentally thawed 1,000 years later, in the year 2999.
Fry tries to survive in this new world by getting a job as a delivery man in a company called Planet Express, run by a distant nephew.
He works with Leela, the one-eyed captain of the delivery ship; Bender, an alcoholic robot without morals; Hermes Conrad, the Jamaican manager; Professor Farnsworth, Fry's distant relative; Amy Wong, an intern; and Zoidberg, a lobster.
Futurama, created by Matt Groening, developed by Groening and David X. Cohen, is produced by The Curiosity Company in association with 20th Century Fox Television.
