Season 6
SA's Got Talent returns for a sixth season with judges Shado Twala, DJ Fresh and Lalla Hirayama, who are on the lookout for this year's biggest and best talent, accompanied by returning host Tats Nkonzo.
Any act, any age. Those are the criteria to enter SA's Got Talent. Thousands of budding hopefuls auditioned for the chance to win the coveted title of SA's Got Talent champion for 2015, but there can be only one winner.
The three judges will decide on who makes it through to the final live rounds of the show by means of voting between them. 21 chosen acts will then take part in the live semi-finals; 7 in each semi-final.
Once the live semi-final rounds take place, the judges will select one act to go to the finale along with one other act decided by public SMS vote. There will be six finalists in the finale, with the winner decided by public SMS vote.
Double the money. That's what all contestants should have on their mind this year as the prize money has been doubled to R500,000. With more money, comes more quality so the judges are on the lookout for that one act that is worth half a million rand.
Transmission day is Sunday at 18h05 on e.tv and eHD on OpenView HD. The semi-finals (18, 25 October and 1 November) have their live results on the same night at 19h30. The finale will also have live results at 19h30 on the same night.
The season was won by three-year-old DJ Arch Jnr.
