Season 7
The seventh season of SA's Got Talent features a new host in the form of comedian and presenter Tol A$$ Mo, who replaces Tats Nkonzo.
There is also a new third judge - Rhythm City star Jamie Bartlett - who joins Shado Twala and DJ Fresh for the first time, replacing Lalla Hirayama.
The first episode features acts from Cape Town and Johannesburg. Cabaret singers, hip-hop artists, orchestras and soul jazz fusion artists - plus a pop star impersonator - are on display.
Who will get that all-important 'yes' - or receive the dreaded red 'X'?
Any act, any age. Those are the criteria to enter SA's Got Talent. Thousands of budding hopefuls auditioned for the chance to win the coveted title of SA's Got Talent champion for 2016, but there can be only one winner.
The three judges will decide on who makes it through to the final live rounds of the show by means of voting between them. 21 chosen acts will then take part in the live semi-finals; 7 in each semi-final.
Once the live semi-final rounds take place, the judges will select one act to go to the finale along with one other act decided by public SMS vote. There will be six finalists in the finale, with the winner decided by public SMS vote.
Transmission day is Sunday at 18h05 on e.tv and eHD on OpenView HD. The semi-finals have their live results on the same night at 19h30. The finale also has live results at 19h30 on the same night.
SA's Got Talent is executive produced by Kee-Leen Irvine for Rapid Blue. The Got Talent franchise is a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company.
