Jika Majika Abroad? Oh wait, It's Cape Town!

Jika Majika

Being umzimb' oqinile, I'm not really a fan of Jika Majika, especially coz watching it makes me wish I was able to shake my moneymaker but doing so (or rather attempting to do so) is such a daunting experiencing for me, I gave up ages ago.
Of course I did the "modern dancing" thing back in the day when we had "talent shows" during my primary school days "imitating" abo Jade, Salt n Pepa & En Vogue....heh, am I giving my age away???
Anyway, the more dancing I did growing up, the more I realized how "styf" I am and yeah, so I quit.

So ke, I caught last night's episode of Jika Majika and it was quite interesting. They were visiting Die Kaap and at first I wasn't sure whether it was Cape Town or New York. Hayi no, die kaapse mense dans jong! It was like I'm watching HONEY or YOU GOT SERVED.
Thembi's noise and legs all up in the air is what kept reminding me that I was watching Mzansi peeps.
South Africans niRongo maan and I love you for being so damn fabulous!

It was so refreshing to see something different from Ingwaza that I see everytime I tune in or whereever I see people bejaiva. Where the hell do black people get these moves from???

We won’t get into the politics of a “Amy” being the first one to go neh? However, I will ask what in was the 411 with the choreographer's hair??

The dance floor was packed with dance moves from abo Honey and I personally think trying to do those is much simpler than trying to do Ingwazi (what the hell is it called anyway? Ingwaza or Ingwazi?). There's just something about moving the shoulders that I can't seem to get.
Not all of us can be abo majaivane so I think I'd better consult Doobsie on the pole dancing classes she talked about. Wouldn't that be a fun way to get some exercise? I'ma call the sister up!

ThembiS

Thembi is one of the most beautiful people in SA and ja noh, the woman can shake her behind like mad. I am so glad they fired (dig this word) Pro Kid coz her co host, Answer?? is cool.
I guess Pro was good enough to attract the viewers in the beginning but his skill as a presenter was way less than ok! Don't take anything from him as umrapper though...uyarocka!!

Am not really sure what to make of Thembi's blonde hair, just looks like one of those hairdo's that only look good on TV? Y'know what I mean?
She kinda looked like an overweight version of Lil Kim but ja, her energy is awesome. A bit too much at times mara, she’s doing her thing.
I hope Jika Majika keeps her so busy that she has no time to record another album...yho, sazesaphumla boo!! (touch wood)

So what are your thoughts on Jika Majika? How well can you shake your booty? Share!

PRESLEY....FRAUD....SO WHAT??

Monkey ya gae

Aaarrggg, am I the only one who's not "shocked" about this? Not that I expected it from him but really, 2006 was so full of drama/shock/horrors that I used up both my 2006 & 2007 shock in that year. My body/head just can't generate anymore "shock" feelings.
The only thing shocking about Presley right now, is the fact that he does not realize how much he needs a hair cut and a gym contract! Next time he goes to court, I'll be there sporting a T Shirt with a "PRESLEY KUTA MORIRI" logo!

Fake drivers' licence? Nah, that's not a shocker, more like a disappointment. I'm disappointed that after all the noise about us having to support local and having to put aside our fake R50 Tsotsi DVD's and buy the original, yena he goes and supports Ivory Coast crooks leaving SA tsotsis to starve? Maybe if he got a fake SA licence, he would not have been caught. I'm just saying...just kidding y'all.

Eish, maar actually I'm not.

ANDILE NCUBE'S INTERVIEW...

One Love!
