Update on Doobsie's Character in Muvhango

DoobsiHaving heard the news about Doobsie being taken off Muvhango and reports that Khabonina actually resigned, I called up the actress (thanks MS for the number) to find out what the real deal is.

Khabonina says Bra Duma will release a formal statement tomorrow but they are definitely killing off the Doobsie character, she did not resign.
She is obviously not happy about the decision but there is nothing that she can do, life goes on.

Khabonina agreed to give Blogiwood & TVSA an interview next week to talk about all of this and her career so look out for that one.

Personally I feel that Bra Duma is loosing the plot because DOOBSIE is the life and soul of Muvhango. Khabonina is a strong gal and we know Duma is famous for wanting people to be obedient sheep so perhaps something happened to bring that about and now Lindiwe Chibi's death (may she rest in eternal peace)just gave him a perfect (or maybe not so perfect) opportunity to fire Khabo, so say my sources.
As for the nonsense about it all being in "honour of Lindiwe",  I will repeat what I said in the G Spot, honour her by continuing what she started!!
How are we gonna remember her legacy if they kill the one thing that millions of people got to know her through?
Honour Lindiwe Chibi (original Doobsie) by giving the current Doobsie a knockout of a script and endearing the character to the millions of Muvhango viewers.
They can even have a permanent "IN MEMORY OF LINDIWE" message in their end credits if they really want to honour her, now that she's gone.

I still want to know if they ever did build Lindiwe that house that was supposedly gonna be built for her????
What are they talking about?

I got an sms from a dear friend of mine who was highly upset about this and she said "I feel like starting a Keep Doobsie Alive" campaign and I think that's exactly what we need to do.
KEEP DOOBSIE ALIVE, not kill her!! Sies maan, don't upset me.

If they want to kill Muvhango then I think they must carry on and kill the Doobsie character and see just how many people will tune it to watch the stiff Azwindini.

Well, if viewers have a say, our voice is that WE WANT DOOBSIE TO STAY ON!!

Now, can I get an amen?

P.S. Oh well, if she does indeed leave Muvhango then I will personally hunt down Mfundi Vundla's number and make sure he gives her a job in Generations coz we could use a super bitch in that area. Plus Samuel needs a girlfriend bathong.
