Stefanie has serious doubts about Ingrid’s motives. To make matters worse, Yvonne and Ingrid don’t get along at all – are they about to get into a catfight? Rico’s smitten with the beautiful Ingrid, but clearly she’s much too busy to take any notice of him. Ingrid is shaken to hear that Stefanie is her grandmother’s only heir.
There’s something Matron finds suspicious about Gentleman Jannie, and even Malan seems to be going out of his way to give the guy hell.
Leandré voices her opinion about Chris’s relationship with Jennifer, but when Jennifer insists there’s nothing between them, that doesn’t convince her.
Tuesday 3 July Episode 178
Cecile begs and threatens, but Franz stubbornly refuses to test the extract on her.
Chris comes up with a feeble excuse about why he and Leandré are fighting.
Ingrid’s asking a whole lot of questions at Casualty… Is she up to something?
Have Toeks and Kitte declared peace? Now that it seems as if Kitte’s life will be changing radically, one wonders whether Toeks will still be in the picture.
Roelien has a plan to find out what’s going on with Chris – and innocent Leandré buckles before her total onslaught. During a crisis Leandré is forced to confess what she told Roelien.
Wednesday 4 July Episode 179
Thanks to At, Cecile knows exactly how to get Franz to play along again – and in such a way that he actually can’t resist. However, when she’s not sure what route to go next, At coldly reminds her he can’t tell her what to do every step of the way.
At blames Chris for what’s happening to Roelien. When At realises the true state of affairs, he throws Chris out of his house.
It seems the very intelligent Ingrid knows just how to get Louis Hanekom on her side.
Stefanie is quietly thrilled when Gideon sides with her, against his sharp-tongued mother.
Thursday 5 July Episode 180
Matron has serious reservations about Toeks’s so-called holiday romance. When she calls on Kitte to help, he is adamant he won’t sacrifice his friendship with Toeks. Will Toeks burn her fingers with her hot-blooded romeo?
Elise’s horror stories about Roelien’s safety make Leandré very nervous.
Franz is unsettled when Cecile suddenly leaves town, instead of coming in for an important series of tests.
Brendan warns Jennifer he won’t be a substitute for the one man who’s out of her reach.
At is determined to end Roelien and Chris’s farce of a marriage once and for all.
Friday 6 July Episode 181
Jennifer insists that Leandré should not feel responsible for the adults’ problems.
Is Ingrid finally going to make At pay up for the Louis Hanekom debacle? The more she hears about Dr Koster’s shady past, the more of a challenge it is to bring him to justice.
Will Roelien take Chris back now that she has the chance to do so, especially when Malan assures her Chris does in fact love her in his own way?
Malan tries to convince Kitte to find out more about Gentleman Jannie.
Is Cecile Webb gambling with her own life by trusting At blindly?
Matron has some sound advice, but will Toeks allow her heart to dictate to her head?
Monday 9 July Episode 182
Kitte’s hot on the trail of one of Jannie’s previous investors – who also just happens to be a woman. Matron still has questions about the charming Jannie, but it seems he’s convinced Toeks that he’s sincere. The man’s acting as if his life is an open book, for all to read.
Roelien’s not sure she wants to get a divorce, but At has already contacted a lawyer on her behalf. Roelien keeps giving Chris a hard time, by making all kids of demands on him. How far is he prepared to bend over backwards, to save his marriage?
Franz is shocked to hear Cecile had a stroke, but he keeps his pose in front of Jennifer.
At almost swallows his tongue when he hears how much Ingrid is claiming on behalf of Louis Hanekom.
Tuesday 10 July Episode 183
Roelien turns her back on a devastated Leandré, who wonders if Roelien used her all along and only pretended to be her friend.
Matron and Malan start to panic when there’s no news from “detective” Kitte. When he eventually calls his cellphone reception is very bad – what message is he trying to give them?
Everyone’s extremely impressed with how competent Ingrid is – everyone except Stefanie.
Chris wonders whether he and Roelien shouldn’t end their marriage – after all, At is bound to keep poisoning the air between them.
Late at night there’s some commotion at Night Shift – will someone finally expose Jannie?
Wednesday 11 July Episode 184
Toeks is in a total state – things are much worse than she expected. Can anyone come to her assistance at this late stage? It’s the moment of truth when she and Kitte come face to face – some harsh words will be spoken, that’s for sure!
An eager Veronica tries her utmost to be transferred to Casualty again, now that Steve van Heerden’s working there. Pippa’s caught off guard when she unexpectedly runs into Steve.
Elise laughs her head off when a patient explains how he injured himself. But the patient has the last laugh when he makes it clear he quite fancies Elise.
Franz receives terrible news about Cecile Webb.
Thursday 12 July Episode 185
Are wedding bells going to ring at Binneland?
Malan’s furious with Pippa for not telling him Steve is back. He’s surprised when Steve tries to clear the air between them.
Yvonne is very worried about what Franz’s latest misdeed will do to Gideon’s reputation.
At has Franz just where he wants him – against the ropes.
Even Roelien is shocked to realise how callous her father can be. She feels he’s pressuring her – is a divorce what she really wants at this stage?
Friday 13 July Episode 186
The shareholders realise they dare not let At to get control of Franz’s shares.
Elise and Veronica act like schoolgirls whenever Dr Steve is around. Why does he want to book Night Shift for a private party?
Roelien knows her father is using her to try and get his hands on more shares, but if that doesn’t work out, At also has a plan B which includes Rico.
The vibe between Jen and Brendan is still on the chilly side.
Ingrid can’t believe Franz would just give up so easily, after working so hard to establish his career – and that merely because someone is making allegations against him?

Gideon emphasises why Franz should find a buyer for his shares – and soon.

It seems as if Veronica will have to give Elise dating advice, because she’s really terrible at it. Nothing Elise does, seems to put Jerry off.
Roelien makes an odd choice of helpmate for her antenatal classes.
Will Pippa have to watch what she says whenever Malan and Steve are in the same room?
Leandré starts lying to Jennifer about where and with whom she’s hanging out.
An argument between Yvonne and Franz gets out of hand to such an extent that Gideon is forced to intervene.

Malan will have to come up with a credible lie that’ll keep the regulars away from Night Shift on the night of Steve’s party. Kitte wonders if it’s a good thing for Malan to trust Steve so completely – they don’t even know who’s on the man’s guest list!
Does Yvonne know something that can save Franz? And why is she rummaging through At’s office? Finally Yvonne and Franz declare a truce, but then he decides to celebrate his victory with Ingrid.

When Roelien seemingly gives in and agrees to give Chris another chance, At plays his trump card. Roelien has agreed to meet with Chris, but does this necessarily mean they’ll give their marriage another go?
Stefanie and Gideon finally have “that” discussion about Zieg. For a change Ingrid defends Stefanie, but it might be too little, too late.
Stefanie gets her own back when she politely puts Yvonne in her place.
A sly Veronica manipulates Rico into letting her and her girlfriends have a girls’ night in his flat.
Pippa could kick herself when she blurts out a huge secret. What will Elise and Veronica do with the information?
Monday 23 July Episode 192
Gideon just can’t trust Stefanie. Then Jennifer, of all people, gives him another snippet of devastating information. The sulkier Gideon gets, the more people talk and Stefanie is hurt when he treats her like everyone else. Will things come to a head when he confesses to Stefanie that he knows what her big secret is?
Jennifer’s shocked to hear that Leandré plans to move in with Roelien for a while.
Steve is Mr Popularity, and everyone hopes he can arrange something for them, seeing that he’s so well connected. Even At has all kinds of plans. But it’s Pippa who gets a glimpse of Steve’s exciting private life.
Roelien explains to At how she can possibly use Leandré against Chris.

Pippa is amazed when Malan says it’s okay for her to work with Steve after-hours.
Jennifer realises Brendan’s childishness is aimed at hurting her.
Now that Elise’s admirer has backed off for a change, she’s really upset.
Ingrid chides Gideon for the rude way in which he treats Stefanie.
Will Steve regret passing up the chance to do something for At, when asked?

Luckily Stefanie and Gideon’s relationship is back on track, but is this the ideal time to host a housewarming? Unfortunately something Rico says creates new problems for the lovebirds.

Veronica wonders if romance is brewing between Brendan and Leandré.

Elise’s day kicks off with very bad news.
Rico realises that Stefanie’s keeping up appearances – something’s just not right between her and Gideon.
Chris explains why he has to make his marriage to Roelien work – and that rattles Jen. When Chris reaches out to Roelien she snubs him, much to Leandré’s surprise.
Pippa has one tiny little problem when it comes to helping rugby players who get injured during a match…
Toeks’s chatter about the good old days with Zieg and Karla, makes Gideon violently jealous. Stefanie wonders if he’ll ever be able to put the past behind him and move on.
Friday 27 July Episode 196
Jerry’s constantly popping in at the hospital, but will he succeed in winning Elise’s heart?
Gideon is far from ready to forgive and forget. Ingrid attacks Gideon for his pig-headed attitude which could jeopardise his relationship with Stefanie, but she stays level-headed when sharing a few home truths with her daughter.
Will a grumpy Gideon show up in time for his own roof-wetting ceremony, or will he leave poor Stefanie to entertain their guests all by herself?
What should’ve been a lovely occasion turns sour thanks to Gideon’s outburst.

Rico picks up that Steve still has feelings for Pippa.
A stubborn Roelien refuses to forgive Chris, but then something makes her change her mind. Does that mean reconciliation is on the cards?

Roelien’s got a new lease on life, but at Gideon’s house someone had to sleep on the sofa…
Malan resents the idea of Elise moving in with him and Pippa.
One of Steve’s patients gets panicky at the thought of the police being called in. The young man claims to work as a courier, but that’s not the whole truth. Pippa warns Steve against getting too involved with the youngster.
Rico’s spitting mad when he hears how badly Gideon lost his temper.
Veronica’s idle gossip hurts Elise far more than she realises, and in so doing she spoils a nice surprise Jerry had planned for Elise.
