On my one day of fame and schleb status I decided to relax and watch City Ses’la on Fo Sho knowing very well that they were not going to ruin my day cos it went so great nothing was going to spoil it, not even this.
A little bit of recap:
Letitia and Phumzile are worried about a tokolosh who stole their pots and a tin opener. They decide to call an Inyanga to come and assess the situation. Of course we all know that Inyangas lie about everything. There was definitely something wrong and some spirit was flowing all over. He recommended they use some smelly portion by the way u Letitia smelt.
Gary, David, Themba and Dana on the other hand are struggling to pay their phone bill because they are unemployed and Dana is an event manager trying to make a living and hoping the rest of the guys will get something to help with the bills. She then decides to connect a pay phone in their flat in order to reduce some of the bills.
Lou is some big shot music something who is looking for people to audition for his band. Gary auditions and gets the part. I went to the kitchen and when I got back everyone on Ses’la was involved in this (music) project. Letitia is stinking ish and complementing them and telling them they are destined to make it, blah, blah, blah.
What’s wrong with this picture?
1. The last time I checked City Ses’la Themba was a lawyer
2. David was working
3. Gary is the only one that I am not sure of, but before he decided to go to KZN he was a dentist or something to do with a medical degree.
4. Ngifun’kwazi what happened mara hee? It seems this show is becoming more and more boring.
Maybe I am the crazy one, can someone please highlight me about these characters’s employment status or have they decided to change everyone status on every episode. To be honest I thought someone was dreaming and they’ll wake up from the crazy dream….
