This is an introduction of the teams and an explanation on HOW to play the game.

Please note that the teams can't be changed as they comprise a good spead over the different genres/tv programmes.
A random placement in the case of Dimples,Marara,SexyM and Toodecent was done because their interests weren't specified despite numerous calls to do so;-)
Rules:1.Teams are required to familiarise themselves with each other (i.e get to know each other before the quiz starts)
2. Teams must come up with a name for their team (Team A/B/C or 1,2,3 are not to be used)
3. Teams are to discuss the strategy used to answer questions on this forum page [

4.Three members will play the game at a time (i.e they will represent each team) and whichever team gets the lowest score loses those three members. Teams must elect a stand-by person in case one of the players is not on the site on Fridays.
5. Your discussions must indicate who the three members that will be playing are.
6. The host will send a reminder to the 3 members from each team (i.e 9 people) about the game.
7. The game will start at 14.00pm each Friday starting on the 20th July 2007.
How to play the game (this will be a constant feature on all games so don't memorise):
1.Ten questions will be posted each Friday covering the following areas:
a)celebrity gossip
b)reality TV
c) music
d) drama
e) soaps
f) world events
g) actors/actresses' real names, family relations, famous quotes
h) Oscar winners/nominees
i) cartoon characters
j) comedy shows.
No questions will not cover any sports/event because of the number of participants that have an interest in sport of any kind (host included) but should there be sufficient demand, this might be reconsidered.
2.One question will be posted and 1 member from each team must submit an answer in the time it takes to post three consecutive comments (i.e 10 seconds).
3. There is no limit on the number of questions a team member can answer, as long as the team is in general agreement on who their reps are(this is where strategy discussions kick in!)
4. Scores will be tallied and results posted after the game.
5. The eliminated team members (from the losing team) will no longer be part of the game
6. In the end, the final game will be played amongst the remaining players where a winner will emerge.
7. The winner gets the prize.
Prize:At this stage of the game, this will not be disclosed and can be anything from a T-shirt, to recognition as the brains on TVSA or even a dinner date with an esteemed member of celebville..who knows.
My decision is final and there shall be no arguing with the host--even if you think my answers are incorrect!
