Oooh yeah, I had an awesome weekend...it was great, great, great...men are such wonderful creatures!! God Bless them!
Because I'm in such a wonderful mood, I ain't complaining about what the papers got wrong, I'll just be giving out awards to the stories that caught my attention in the papers this Sunday.
So What ?? Award
This award goes to the story in the mangamanga Sun about these two not being friends anymore. Amstel told mangamanga that "bling gal" has accused him of sleeping with Mandla "sterkfontein" Mthembu.
I don't even wanna go into details, my mood might just change for the worse, I'll just pass on the award. Congratulations to all involved.
"It Happens" Award
This one goes out to the story about Zola asking "Why Am I A Target?" after his car window was broken by some boys in Soweto.
I asked him about the incident at the Live Earth Concert
(after hearing about it on Penny's show, of course), he played the incident down but did say it happened coz they knew that car belonged to him.
Okay, again, I don't wanna get into discussions or whatever, all I'm saying is that IF he did ask "Why Am I A Target" then my award goes to him and it's accompanied by the following personal note:
"I also had my car window smashed, in my own neighbourhood, in my own yard too so it really has nothing to do with your name being Zola. Kusiwe ekasi qha!!! We are all targets of crime."
S'funukwazi Award!!
So Mbongeni Ngema is taking KFC to court because they used "thambo lami le kentucky" in a billboard advert.
My S'funukwazi award goes to him and I want to know whether he asked their permission when he used Kentucky in his song, back in the day.

I'ma holla at the After9 boys today to find out if the rumour is true but if it is, then we are throwing a mother of all parties to celebrate and China better be there. SABC Weather can wait....

UPDATE: Ok, I've just heard from one my moles at the SABC, there are talks definitely. Informal, but yes, they are keen to bring the story back to our screens but nothing's formal yet.
I don't know why it's so hard to decide, we want this damn thing back on air...if you agree, holla and I will make sure they get the message yokuba we want it!!!

You don't know what I"m on about? iFriends Like These ibuyile baba and brother man is looking slimmer, cuter, finer, yhoo....let's just say the brother is hott and some two crazy TVSA gals had the following sms conversation when he appeared on TV:

SMS B: Ke a mo batla (I want him)
SMS A: Haa my frend! Phela ufunwa yimi manje!! (No, I want him)
SMS B: Ok, then it's on!!!

Any awards you wanna give to stories you read over the weekend??
I also wanted to give my "Yeah Whatever, Award" to Lekgoa for telling us he was a drug addict but is recovering now. The reason I felt he deserved the award was because his story ended with a "his new album is out"....nithanda kabi ukupromota ama album ngama drugs....
He says he's not singing kwaito anymore, is singing Afrikaans music and my response to that is "Good for you, minus one problem for us".
Oh, I was about to give him the award but then I remembered he's not a TV star so I kept it back.
