Soebatskloof is rocked by the latest scandal: there is no chance of getting away from it, and everyone has something to say or ask. The four people implicated people: Annette, Du Toit, Edmund, and Shireen, struggle to cope.
Junior begs Allison not to reveal his secret, while also convinced that he knows who is responsible for leaking the newest scandal to the media. The traitor leaks more information to the media to break Du Toit. Shireen makes an unexpected and drastic decision.

The media finds out about the existence of Charlie, and it worsens things for Edmund and Annette. After Joey’s talk with CJ, CJ starts to think about the type of man he would like to be one day – and his guilty feelings are once again haunting him.
Debbie-Lee’s night out gets a lot more interesting when she bumps into Elroy: the electric feelings between them are something that can’t be ignored.

Debbie-Lee follows her heart, despite repeated red flags and warnings – and then she meets Elroy’s father, Andrew.
Veronique suggests that Annette take charge of Charlie’s future. Annette is devastated by the public’s response on her share of the scandal - and then Lynn arrives to save Du Toit from Annette and the rest of the Marais family.
Marco is concerned about CJ’s problems and Grace gives CJ one more day to do the right thing.

While CJ’s family and friends get together to celebrate his life, he is wrestling with the biggest and most difficult decision of his life - and Grace arrives to keep him accountable for his decision.

Shireen can’t get away from her problems and Annette wants to make a decision regarding Charlie that makes Edmund deeply concerned.

Dewald informs the Marais family that he can only support them as a friend in this trying time, while CJ shoulders the consequences of his choice all by himself.

Nenna and Joey try their best to support Hermien, while a hopeful Edmund arrives, flowers in hand, at Shireen’s.
Lynn gets some of her own medicine when she is confronted with Du Toit’s sins during an interview.

Debbie-Lee and Sandy can’t seem to bury the hatchet before her night out with Elroy.
The Soebatskloof workers are up in arms and decide to march, while Lynn desperately wants Shireen to tell her side of the story to a journalist.
Grace says farewell to Soebatskloof, but not before she and CJ greet each other in honesty. Junior and CJ find solace in each other, while Allison takes Shireen in her confidence…

Debbie-Lee did not return home the previous night, and the Systers are very concerned.
CJ gets attacked by a friend of Bismarck's - and Bismarck’s mother hopes he will experience the same kind of hell that her child had to endure.
Junior feels powerless because he can’t support his son. Lynn is determined to find out who threw Du Toit under the bus. Debbie-Lee wakes up to find herself in a nightmare.

A delusional Elroy does not want to let Debbie-Lee go, while the Systers are going off the rails with worry.
Veronique gets more and more concerned about what will happen with CJ, and she reaches out to the only person that she knows will be able to help her with this impossible situation.
CJ hears Veronique and Tjoppie argue about him, and realises that he is not savvy enough to survive life behind bars - and he decides to do something about his situation.

Veronique tries to protect her son - but it seems like Lady Justice has something else planned. Andrew convinces Elroy to send a message to the Systers.

The judge pronounces his sentence in CJ’s case, and Grace is there to hear it all.
Marco does not share Grace’s emotions, while the rest of the family are unsure of how to deal with their emotions.
Phillip, Napoleon and Stil Piet are grappling with their mixed feelings surrounding the case. A prayer is said for Debbie-Lee.

Elroy plays a dangerous game with Debbie-Lee and the Systers, but it is Andrew’s information that could be the light at the end of the tunnel for Debbie-Lee.
Lynn plots a bit of revenge: she confronts the person that she thinks is the traitor, and tries to get Du Toit to agree to sue the individual.
Tjoppie checks in on Marco, as the longing for CJ is evident.

Elroy shows Sandy and Shireen who’s the boss when they come looking for Debbie-Lee.

Elroy makes life very difficult for Debbie-Lee, and makes her understand what will happen if she doesn’t do as he says - he expects her to write off her family.
Du Toit makes a decision regarding his future. Grace visits CJ in jail, and gives him hope for his life after this current chapter has concluded.
Lynn devises a plan to help Shireen clear her name.
