AmaCondom.........eish we all dont want to be infected with the HI Virus fo sho. so we have been told that we must use the ABC's if we dont want the virus, and since A is not what most of us opt for so i guess the most important one is C(aboManto) so my Question is " does it matter which condoms you have or use?" is the name or label of the condom really important?", "is it true that people who use the state comdoms are cheap skates?", " are we really suppose to be using the choice condoms when we are working and earning?", so yah guys lets get talking about AboManto....whats your take on it?

Hey monchooza, what a follow-up to your highly successful 1st blog kodwa ke my 2c:

Yes it matters because there are so many brands out there, each offering different flavours and strength (what's the word?)

I would be highly upset if my partner brought out a pack of CHOICE condoms, moderately upset if he brought iLovers plus that's unflavoured BUT highly impressed if it was one of those rough riders brand.....they have different ones that bring out different effects if u know what I mean. I've heard from some people that say that the free ones give them a rash and mina I'm not one to take chances like that..

Hey moncho all I can say is in this day and age, condoms are not safe, so option C works only for a few months, then you and ur partner can get tested and stay faithful. i mean why spoil the fun and originality with rubber/plastic (dont know the quality, havent used those in 18 months now). I say I prefer inyama e nyameni, as long as u both know ur status, but before u go for HIV testing i think u should use condoms and i honestly dont think it matters which type. I think people have associated love with money so much that they dont see the latter without the former, to me a condom is a condom, whether you buy it or get it for free (b4 the SABS saga of course), they are not 100 % all of them. Some say if ur partener uses choice it is like he is taking u for granted and cheap, but why must we always associate love with wealth.So in a nutshell I say use choice for 3 weeks, get tested, then go nyama-nyama all they way.

what a nice topic Monch, the label of a condom does not count. i use any kind of condom as long as i am safe. Choice does not smell, it is just it was not perfumed like the others. why should I buy whereas the free ones are all over?

I don't carry condoms with me. And its not because of my backward thinking. I don't share JGirl's sentiments at all. There's nothing wrong with carrying your own plastic. But I rarely go out and think "I might get laid tonight, let me go buy some CD's." My boyfriend always carries more than enough.So its not something I concern myself with.
