Idols 4 - Top 7 Girls

5 of the top 12 girls have left and hopefully we're getting down to serious business.

Group

And the only person I’m sorry to see go is Dudu.

The girls really gave a lacklustre performance Sunday night and even though I know how tough it is to see someone leave, I have to say that they didn't deserve to stay (again, except Dudu). I suppose I should give them all a fair chance before I predict that the winner will be male.

Dudu, Belinda, Heidi, Liza & Jackoleen have been sent home.

Next week 2 will leave, and I suppose another 2 the week thereafter, making it the Top 10; after which we’ll have them leave one by one.

I really hope that the performances will be infinitely better than Sunday night, because quite frankly, the girls did absolutely nothing to wow me.

Bad song choices, pitchiness and some downright bitchiness was probably the downfall of the 5. I hope that the others have learnt from their mistakes.

The top 7 girls are:

Dominique
Yolanda
Tender
Jody
Carla
Caroline
Andriette

BRING on the top 14. I’m ready for some good singing.

Agree 100% Ama! It was stabbingly painful sitting through Sunday nights performances and the attitudes of the crowd that got voted out sucked in the extreme. I mean that one who got all iffy and said: "I worked so hard for this blah blah sob sob" What was she talking about?? She hadn't done a stitch of anything to give us something different and fresh.

I'm verry annoyed that Dominique's been rewarded for annihilating Candyman the way she did - there was no spirit or energy or feeling or meaning or movement or zing and even just a bit of spark - it was just so nothingly bland! Not impressed that she got through at all.

If there's to be any improvement for next week they all need to focus on choreography in such a huge way - at the moment they all look and feel exactly same - they come on, get into one rigid position and that's it.

ya its very sad she left, it will teach her to choose the right songs for her voice next time. i thought Jackoleen would make it as well.

C'mon you guys, aren't you being a tad bit harsh on the girls, I thought they did a much better job than the guys with the sound being all sorted out, it was a pleasure watching the girls. You didn't even mention Jodi and Caroline who I thought were totally awesome.

I had such high hopes for Dudu but when I heard she was singing Waterloo, I knew she was gonna blow it and she did. What a pity!

I can't say that I'm unhappy about the top 7 girls that went through, except for Dominique, I'm happy with the rest.

I didn't watch all the performances on Sunday, but what I did see, I didn't like.  The girls do nothing for me.  Jody (imo) is the only one that has a great deal of potential.  I find them all really boring!

I thought Dudu pretty much sucked and was pleased to see she'd been voted out.

I like Jody & Andriette.

Jody was pretty much the best of the bunch. But i thought i was biased because i've loved her from the start ;)

I was wondering why Caroline looked so familiar to me, no wonder Dave mentioned the fact that people say she has an unfair advantage.....
