Episode: The Girls Who Hate Their Makeovers
Broadcast date: 30 October, 2007

The new wannabes are immediately thrown into the competition with their first photo shoot. The judges - one of the first supermodels, Janice Dickson, photographer, Nigel Barker and stylist Nol Marin welcome them dressed as the “fashion police”.

The girls are told the theme is “Aliens in Manhattan” while backstage in make-up Janice reveals a secret to Rebecca.

While Janice pours out her heart out, Nigel gets pissed off at Brandy’s high and mighty attitude. She walks onto his set complaining about how long she had to wait until it was finally her turn.

Next the contestants are taken to Los Angeles finest spa, where they receive makeovers. But Keenyah and Brandy complain so much they push Tyra and Jay Manuel, Director of photography over the edge

That Brandy needs clean her act up! She is really too much! Bitching is not attractive especially when you want TO WIN A COMPETITION!!!! She needs to check herself. This is not America's next Bitchy Women!!!! She needs to calm her a$$ down!

Brandy with the mnhlanhla must go, the girl wants to be such a diva maar umubi, very glad they gave her umgqolozo. Nayima(mohawk chick) she's sooo cool, just love her. If only Eva with all her divaness was on this season, between her,Mgqolozo Chick and Getto Chick there sure would have been some REAL drama. Oh and who's the girl form SA?

Eish guys, mina yesterday's episode was pissing me off. Its like abo Tyra expect these girls to be yes girls? Tyra thinks she's the best thing ever, I think SHE has an attitude problem, wambora, but i mean honestly, if i was there, and they were making me over, surely i should have a say. I know its her show, but those girls are people, and i know when u a model, some ppl want u to look a certain way, but surely u dont have to take all the bull? Hai, mina i was pissed, especially at the end when that girl was crying(is that brandy, the one with the ex afro), she crie d so much, i was like...girl pls?

Oh, and i loved Janice's comment about yuvi being SUV.

Nami i dont agree with Tyra most of the time, i think its good that she's giving these gals a chance kodwa ke she is not Jesus, akayeke ukulayela abantwana babanye abafazi. That chick from last season (Tiffany) msut stop telling us abt her sad life story, we heard her the first time, this is not a pity party its a competition, i dont think she'll last anyway, she must just go back to her fiance and her twin bed!!!!

i just love miss J, love her legs and her catwalk. oh and i hear Mr.J's father is from SA,anyway... i also agree with you Belz ,this girl is really geeting to me too ,it now looks like the only keeping her coz they feel sorry for her ,its only a matter of time ,her bad attitude will be back ,staying in a house full of girls for all those days ,....................we must just wait and see

as for uBrandy ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,she really pissed me off last night ,what was that on her head anyway ,the makeover was much better .i kinda like her mara
