Attention Players:
Going into the final episode, there are 5 Survivor contestants remaining, and 7 current jury members. These are both unique events in Survivor's history up to this point, and there's been a lot of speculation about what this means for the finale, such as: How many final jury members will there be, and how will they be determined? How many finalists will the jury choose from? Is a tie in the final vote possible, and if so, what happens afterward?
My question to you players is, Should I reveal the answers to these questions in my PL questions next week? Frankly, I would prefer to do so, because it will make the finale questions easier to write and to score. In addition, a forum poster recently revealed the answer to these questions in a post (now spoiler-tagged) that some PL players have read, and it would be difficult for me to write the questions in such a way that these players wouldn't have an advantage.
I also don't think that revealing the answers would take away from your enjoyment of the finale. The answer is one of the (less outrageous) possibilities already suggested in the forums, and if I recall correctly, it was even revealed in the US media before the episode aired in the U.S. This is not the kind of twist I'd be adamantly opposed to revealing (like, for example, the Dead Man's Tribe from Season 7).
All that said, I'm strongly leaning toward revealing the finale structure in next week's questions. (Non-players can, of course, choose not to read this blog next week!) But I'll reconsider if there is a strong negative response to this post. So please: chime in!
