Starting on M-Net Series in December:
ER 8 Premiere date: Saturday 8 December at 22h00
Combining the writing of best-selling author Michael Crichton with producer John Wells and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television, the multiple Emmy Award-winning ER explores the chaos of an urban, public hospital emergency room and the lives of its devoted doctors and staff.
Attending Physician Dr. Mark Greene forms the emotional backbone of the emergency room, joined by highly talented but less-than-gracious Dr. Kerry Weaver. Greene's wife, British surgeon Dr. Elizabeth Corday, ably serves as associate chief of surgery and Senior Resident Dr. John Carter strives to prove his skills every day, alongside surgical resident Dr. Peter Benton.
When the difference between life and death rests on split-second decisions, only one thing endures-the power and passion of these dedicated medical personnel in the ER.
The Tudors Premiere date: Tuesday 11 December at 21h00
Passion, ambition, and treachery collide in this compelling drama about the early years of King Henry VIII's infamous 40-year reign. At the age of nineteen, young Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) succeeds to the throne. Affairs of the state carry little interest for the young monarch, and official matters are left to the powerful Cardinal Thomas Wolsey (Sam Neill), while England's ruler tends to his own desires.
For those in Henry VIII's inner circle, including Cardinal Wolsey, second wife Anne Boylen (Natalie Dormer), Catholic martyr Sir Thomas More (Jeremy Northam), and the Duke of Norfolk (Henry Czerny), staying in the favour of a self-serving King is an arduous and dubious task.
Big Love Premiere date: Wednesday 19 December at 22h00

Each wife arrives in their new home and has a chance to get accustomed to their surroundings before their new family arrive. Aided only by an instruction manual left by their predecessor, they must spend their first week living according to the rules of the original wife. However, during their second week the wives are allowed to run their new households as they see fit.
