This week divisions start appearing within the blue and red teams while some alliances are strengthened. Some contestants feel that they lack the self-motivation they need in order to be real winners, instead of relying on the trainers to push them.
They are also angry that one of the contestants just sleeps every afternoon, is emotionally unavailable and lacks a healthy team spirit. In addition, life in the house and living in each others’ space is harder than everyone thought it would be.
The remaining 13 contestants show just how far they will go to win, even if it means naked sabotage, mind-games and relentless back-stabbing.
Then of course, there's the challenge. This week the contestants tackle a the Mexican Wave at the ABSA Stadium in Durban. The teams are have to race to cover three stadium sections of 91 seats by performing an individual Mexican wave in each chair (sitting down, standing up and raising their arms above their heads, while moving constantly from one chair to the next).
Meanwhile back at the villa everyone faces food temptations galore - if they dare touch one mouth-watering item, they have to eat it.
Who will lose the battle of the bulge this week?
