Priests/ reverends/spiritual leaders or whatever you might call them are suppose to be trustworthy, honest, reliable etc right?!?
Crossover to soapieland you get a totally different version of these priests.
Years back Generations had this female priest who munipilated people minds by qouting the bible , i think u remember her ( the part was played Vatiswa Ndara).I cant remember much of the episodes, all i can remember is that she was a no good.
Now Fast forward to 2008 we get another version of a manupiltaive priest this time it is in Rythm City. The man ( forget this name) has promised Rachel Phakathi to be his spiritual guider but ended up shagging then marrying the woman. He almost refused her to wear the designer bridal gown saying it will not be appropriate for church members to see her dressed in such a manner. Needless to say that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dress.
The only thing the priest is eyeing is Rachel's money - he says he has dream of builiding a Terbanacle costing millions and he only spoke of the dream after seeing how much Rachel is worth. Rachel has fallen into the trap saying she will help build the church.
And then in Scandal, well this priest has not shown much of evilness but i suspect more will sufarce soon . the only time he turned into badboy was when he almost kissed Maletsatsi. He is getting closer and closer to Maletsatsi and Eddie's ( Maletsatsi's husband) drinking will lead his wife straight into the arms of Baba Mfundisi.
