New on Animal Planet in February, 2008:
Nick Baker's Weird Creatures 2Premiere date: Wednesday, 6 February at 21h00
Ever heard of the mutant turtle, the snot otter and the real Yoda? Some would dismiss these oddities as freaks of nature, but for Nick Baker these are the unsung heroes of evolutionary biology.
Nick Baker returns for a second season, taking viewers to some more of the most remote and inhospitable corners of the globe in order to find the ugliest, slimiest and most downright bizarre animals that grace the Earth.
Each episode begins with a visit to the British Natural History Museum’s Darwin Centre, where Nick first acquired his love of all things weird and wonderful. Nick then tracks these animals of his childhood fascination to their actual homes for close encounters.

Help Me! My Neighbours Are Baboons!Premiere date: Sunday, 10 February at 20h00
We all have problems with our neighbours -– anything from the loud music at 4am, to stealing your parking space. But just how bad can neighbours get? Do they eat all your food? Steal your wine from your refrigerator? Teach their children how to break into your kitchen and then terrorise your home?
That’s exactly what the townsfolk of Overberg in South Africa have to put up with on a daily basis. Located between the mountains and the Indian Ocean, this usually tranquil and picturesque area is now inhabited with Chacma baboons, who will do whatever damage they have to in order to find food.
These opportunists never miss a chance to grab something they can eat, and if they cannot eat it, they destroy it.
