Noord Taxi Rank is a bigger rank in Jozi but all people will agree if I say those taxi drivers can do freedom of speech more than the word.Lately a lady was harrased by the taxi Drivers for wearing a mini skirt and those guys bamphathaphatha you what I mean. Now there was a strike against this , ladies were demostracting in a fashionable way with Mini Skirts others with they breast showing off. Those ladies had they thighs shown just like that some their panties I mean different sizes of thighs amakhulu amancane ngisho namhlophe imbala. The worse was showing off their bellies. In return the taxi drivers decided never basiphale they strip naked at the street some with under wears and other with their bums. I mean guys was all this necessary or is it going too much , lots of people shop at Jozi kids having to see this just imagine how are going to answer your kid when he ask " Mom what is that ?" pointing at the bums of the taxi Drivers or even a torrist. To me this is humilating we can show anger but not like this as if we gals are giving power to this guys, cause I mean the more we demonstrate wearing mini skirt they too will do whatever they feel like. All of you know that some of the taxi drivers are a bit crazy so why do we stand so low in their position. Even we can argue that in rural areas people wear izidwaba nama bheshu but this is Jozi izinto ziyenzeka everyone has the right to do whatever whenever. So to the lady sorry she meet amahlanya but as far as I m concern she can wear it and be harrased by the snobs of Noord Taxi rank or sometimes be appreciated by your beauty. It is a two way process to be liked or to be lust by people who will look at you with different eyes . I may see a beautiful person if you wear a mini skirt but someone may feel pressure emotional and sexually. Was this demostraction necessary to wear mini or I we competing with this crazy people?

Sometimes it's knowing WHEN and HOW to do something. I'm all for freedom to wear whatever you like but knowing we can't control the other person and change amaqaba (uncivilised) taxi drivers I'd be cautious of what I wear.if using public transport-avoid wearing something that will bring attention, unless you are using your private car.....Malls are safe and other areas once you are off the streets.this is like us ladies wearing those uncomfortable high heels using taxis that will leave us miles away from the workplace...and it really looks uncomfortable..Church- you can be sexy and beautiful in a subtle and classy manner. no need to reveal it all work-gaad I've seen all types of cleavages in the elavator and wonder if as a woman I get distracted how about men who get worked up by seeing, let's be sensitive, again you can still be sexy but keep it classy, some people dress up as if baya eMarket or are prostitutesweekends-your choiceschool meetings-don't embarass your poor child with skimpy clothes.children are very observant

Posh, could not have said it better, women should now understand you can never separate sex and men in the same sentece, when you dress up like that you know you'll get attention either way, i might be wrong but we as girls call such things upon ourselves, yes, we want to be sexy and all cause it does boost our confidence when men appreciate. For me nothing beats being complimented looking all decent and sexy.its not only taxi drivers, all men are like that doesnt matter civilised or not and the so called civilised they literally undress you with their eyes. (disgusting) but have experienced that a couple of times.

@Cande those taxi drivers violated that girl's rights and they will pay... PERIOD...!It's true, such barbarism should not be tolerated. but as a society we can also learn a thing or two...I just think parents are getting away with a lot nowadays....
