On the latest episode of Dans! Dans! Dans!:

On Saturday night (22 March, 2008) Yarisha Singh (27) and Andile Ndlovu (19) sidestepped the wrath of the judges in the penultimate Dans! Dans! Dans! spectacular and made it through to the grand finale of the competition.

The judging panel were less friendly towards Henk Opperman (17), Nicole McCreedy (28), Casey Swales (19) and Rachelle D’Artnall (24).

These four dancers are now up for elimination and two of them will leave the show during Monday’s live results show. Their fates are now in the hands of viewers who have to vote for their favourites and the guy and girl with the least number of votes at the end of the official voting period will be sent home.

The theme for Saturdays spectacular was Stories and Fables and the show opened with the musical number I’m A Believer from Shrek.

The three judges were joined by choreographer, artistic director and dance educationalist, Alfred Hinkel. Hinkel is the current Artistic Director of Jazzart - Cape Town's prestigious dance company who will stage a production called I Am Cinnamon later this year  - with the winner of Dans! Dans! Dans! in the lead role.

Casey had to brave the stage first with his solo routine, choreographed by Kelsey Middleton, to the music of Dutch folk singer, Stef Bos.

Yarisha danced a number choreographed by Jeannette Zaidy to the beats of African drums and song.

Rachelle’s routine was choreographed by Debbie Rakusin to a song by Dreamgirl Jennifer Hudson.

Andile performed to the tear jerker Wind Beneath My Wings. His routine was choreographed by Thoriso Mangongwa.

Nicole did a JazzArt number to the rythms of the marimba and xylophone.

Henk danced to Linkin Park’s Numb. His routine was choreographed by Alethea Williams.

The dancers were randomly paired up and danced in pairs for a last time before the judges had to make their all important decision. The pairs were: Casey and Yarisha, Andile and Nicole, and Henk and Rachelle.

The Top 6 finalists ended the night with a group number, accompanied by classical violinist Annake de Villiers.
