On 3rd Degree next Tuesday:

Episode: Zimbabwean government bans 3rd Degree from covering the country’s election
Broadcast date: 1 April, 2008 at 20h00

The Zimbabwean government has banned 3rd Degree from covering the country’s election, but according to e.tv it won't stop Debra Patta from covering the story.

In next Tuesday's episode the show looks at the dynamics at play in Zimbabwean politics and the aftermath of Saturdays polls.

Ms Patta loves getting her hands dirty and that's what I like about her.

I can't believe she actually went to the Noord street taxi rank and challenged taxi drivers.

I saw dat e-tv is banned and they are busy screeming Free and Fair.......Free and Fair my *****.  My prayers goes to dat country - I think dat ballot papers alone can not save dat country - it needs devine interventions.  I think dat every Zimbabwean must get a glimse of an ad on Sowetan page 10 and if need be....all the SADC gov must organise free transport for them to go and cast their votes.

Eish cleave i also couldnt blv it when she went 2 the rank. it was kinda of funny when she was speaking 2 those guys. the was this one who was busy saying "u r my sister, my mother, my daughter, my aunt..." and Debra bruntly said: "but i'm not,"

Damn the womans brave. Now thats what I call real journalism in the making. I like deborah  cause she really digs to the surface and whenever she is interviewing a person she asks difficult and deep question. She doesnt care whether u are black ,  green or pink.  I wonder she has never been beaten like seriously. I really thot the taxi drivers were gonna swear at her on try to beat her.

etv claims to be reporting news fairly without any bias, thats BULL and they know it. They are just trying to fool us but they wont manage, people are never neutral they always favour one side or the other, etv must stop trying to make it seem as if the government is a complete failure, they never report any good news about the government, they are always criticising, always seeing something wrong, some of us are tired of this government bashing reporting etv is giving us....its just not real it sounds sensational, tabloid like....

Debora Patta should be carefull whenever she's taking her brave endeavours, people are dangerous out there...someone please warn her.

@Zube - Etv does not potray the government's successes because the SABC does more than enough on that part.

I agree with u Lady D, she must be very carefull coz really now she dnt have to find her self on the wrong side of Mugabe, she must ask the MDC Leader Morgan(whatever his surname is) for a little advise.

I really admire your courage patta.  and your work also provides a positive attitude. you love pointing out peoples wrongs and we as the viewers must contribute to the solutions of our wellbeing. there are really a few people who can compromise their safety for the truth like you. and i love your tone when you get facts from stubborn people it is so np-nonsense. keep up the good work. i really would not like to be caught at the wrong side of your law.
