Channel O has announced that the all-access celeb music show
O-Access is set to return to the channel later this year.
Hosted once more by
Nonhle Thema, the season is currently filming in the United States, working on content for the new season.
“We set the benchmark high for the first two seasons of the show," says Nonhle. "Our brief is to go bigger, better and further in bringing our viewers a show that gets under the skin of the entertainment world’s biggest stars in a uniquely African way,” says Nonhle.
Musicians Nonhle interviewed in the previous two seasons include 50 Cent, Craig David, Rihanna, John Legend and Beenie Man.
“We are not going to give away just who we will be interviewing and hanging out with this time around,” says Nonhle, “but our wish list includes the likes of Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and Jamie Foxx - and that’s just for starters!”
During the shoot, Nonhle will be keeping viewers up-to-date with her encounters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and other cities through the O-Boma Social Networking platform, accessed via
www.channelo.co.za.
While in the US, the O-Access crew will also be filming inserts for a new show coming up on Channel O titled Most Wanted. The show will feature the best new videos currently being released on the global music stage and is scheduled to premiere in May.
An O-Access 3: Behind-the-Scenes edition is also being filmed.
The third season of O-Access premieres in November 2008.
