At's conscience has finally caught up with him and Chris is left to take over the negotiations. He is adamant to save his son. A frantic Kitte is looking for the engagement ring. Stefanie is quite unhappy about a deal between Elise and Franz. Gideon can't understand what the fuss is about.

Episode 396
Everyone is surprised by Franz en Elise's partnership. The kidnapper gives instructions about the drop-off. Roelien doesn't trust Andy to return with the ransom and insists to go with him, but is it really safe to leave Daniel on his own?
Kitte decides his only hope is to commission a new ring for Toeks before she finds out he lost it - no matter how much it costs. Toeks gets the surprise of her life when a waiter spots something gleaming on the coffee shop floor.

Chris waits desperately for Daniël's kidnappers to call, but At is convinced that they won't. Rico has waited long enough and sets up a meeting with Inspector Ras. Elise tries her best to win some time and avoid Franz, but there's no way to retrieve the missing presentation. A vicious twist awaits everyone at Binneland.

Episode 398
Roelien and Daniel are rushed through to Casualty with one of the kidnappers in tow. The entire Binneland is baffled when it transpires it's actually Rico. The police, her dad, the whole hospital are turning to her for answers. Answers that she doesn't have.
At reveals his true feelings for his daughter. She realizes her only way out, is to ensure that Rico never wakes up to expose her evil deeds. Is she finally going to manage to kill the only person that ever showed her true kindness?

Rico's fighting for his life. Elise and Franz are getting closer, and Stefanie does not approve. Chris is supportive of Roelien, but can't help feeling suspicious. Kitte and Toeks are planning their honeymoon and ask Ingrid to draw up a marital contract. Roelien realise that she has to kill Rico to keep her secret safe and she pays him a visit. Will she succeed with her evil plans?

Kitte informs At of Roelien's attempt on Rico's life and At tries his best to stall the police investigation; a missing identity document stands in the way of Toeks and her dream wedding; Franz is concerned about Elise's emotional well-being and he decides to take action; At and Marina makes a pact to keep Roelien out of prison.

Gideon doesn't buy Roelien's sudden breakdown. Marina pleads with At to make another plan, but he is adamant that the institution is the best option for Roelien. Elise tries her best to wiggle her way out of the 'date' with Franz and Toeks discovers that, in fact, she is Mrs Wong.

Episode 402
Stefanie's feelings of guilt and fear are jeopardising her relationship with gideon. Franz's kindness also contributes to make things worse. Ras surprises at with evidence that roelien was part of the kidnapping. Ingrid does starts doubting roelien's mental breakdown.
Elise is a new person after her evening with Franz, but refuses to tell Veronica what happened. Ingrid is hopeful that it's the end of Toeks' marraige to Mr Wong, but things are becomming complicated.

At is ready to cut all ties with Roelien and prepared to fight Chris over custody of Daniel. Gideon is still in the dog box with Stefanie. Rico has an allergic reaction to his new medication and Deidre saves his life. Home Affairs are not satisfied with Toeks's proof that she can't be Mrs. Wong. Rico opens his eyes and his version of the events is something that Ras didn't expect.

To everyone's surprise, and to some people's dismay, Rico sticks to his story that he doesn't remember anything. Toeks' "marriage" to Mr Wong is interfering with her own wedding plans, while Stefanie is trying her utmost to sidestep hers. Ingrid makes a shocking discovery.

Episode 405
Gideon is in a hurry to get married to Stefanie, but she feels even more claustrophobic. Everything bubbles out and she gives Gideon some shocking news. Jennifer is unhappy with At's decision to employ his nephew. Quinton is eager to impress.
Just when Toeks thinks she's convinced the police, she finds out Mr Wong left several properties in her name. Ingrid confronts At about drugging Roelien. At goes to say his farewells at the institution. Rico is impressed by Deidre's empathy. Then he suddenly wakes up drugged and sees her murder a pasient.

Episode 406
Rico is in a state about what he witnessed last night. The more he tries to convince Jennifer that there's a murderer in their midst, the more she's convinced that he's suffering a delusional episode. Rico finally looses it when he gets an unexpected visit from Deidre.
Kitte manages to convince Toeks that it will be best for all if they postpone their wedding, before Mr. Wong causes mayhem on their big day. Toeks discovers a passion for life that can only be brought to fruition if she sells her fake husband's property.
Kitte is in a state of shock because of her fraudulent ideas. Both Gideon and Stef are at a loss. They realise how empty their lives will be without each other. However much Gideon pleads, though, it seems as if it will be to no avail.

Rico asks Malan and Quinton to help him prove Deidre's guilt; Gideon does not cope with the unexpected break up and Stefanie tries to explain his absence; Toeks fantasizes about a life as the wealthy Mrs Wong as Kitte tries to convince her that her plans are illegal. Jennifer discovers what Quinton and Malan are up to.

Jen tries to get Quinton fired for misleading Tamara, but At reckons she should focus her energy on Rico's apparent delusions. Ingrid and Stefanie fall out about Gideon's harsh reaction to the break-up. Toeks goes 'under cover' in an attempt to trap Mr Wong. Deidre turns out to be much more than anyone bargained for.

When an allergic patient is taken up in ICU Deidre sees her chance for revenge. Quinton will regret ever meeting her before the day is over. The situation at the Basson practice worsens though and after Elise learns the truth, Stefanie goes to Jennifer with a proposal.
Franz is upset by the tension at his practice and takes it out on Elise. The estate agent makes contact with Toeks and she organises a meeting in the coffee shop with undercover cops present. Kitte is still worried about her safety. Jennifer manipulates At so that Rico is forced to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Will Rico give in to their bullying, or is he willing to lose his job?

At suspends Quinton and leaves him at the mercy of the shareholders. Rico, however, has a plan to clear both their names. When Gideon finds out that the whole hospital now know about him and stefanie, he invites everybody to celebrate the demise of his relationship. Toeks is very nervous about her meeting with the estate agent. Will she be able to convince him? Elise refuses to tell Veronica what's wrong with stefanie. She vowes to find out on her own.

Sparks fly when a self-righteous Yvonne arrives at Binneland and confronts Stefanie head on for the way she's treated Gideon. Ingrid has good news for Toeks regarding the ID fraud saga. Rico makes a sudden and shocking decision regarding his future at Binneland. Rico leaks confidential information about certain mysterious deaths at the clinic to a scandal-hungry journalists.

A reporter is asking questions about unnatural deaths at Binneland, much to Jennifer's dismay. Franz and Quinton are trying to find out if there is any truth in it. While it looks like the wedding bells will finally ring for Kitte and Toeks, the relationship between Gideon and Stefanie is worsening. Especially with Yvonne stoking the fire.

Franz and Quinton dig into Deidre's past, but the day turns into a nightmare for Franz as Yvonne's investigations uncover the disturbing truth. A highly upset Elise finds out about Veronica's Saudi-plans. In the meantime, Deidre subtly sows panic about a 'superbug' in Binneland when she realises she's being investigated.

Episode 415
News about super bugs in Binnelands ICU are spreading faster than a veld fire. Anel is worried this might lead to an investigation that will bring her sister's crimes under the search light. Deidre has a few tricks up her sleeve. Elise and Matrone put a damper on Veronica's fantasies about her intended trip.
Stefanie hopes that pleading with Yvonne will help keep Gideon safely in the dark. Yvonne however decides to let Gideon choose whether he wants to know or not. The tragic consequences of his decision will leave deep scars.

Episode 416
Ingrid is furious that Franz didn't warn Stefanie about Gideon's realisation. Gideon vents his anger on Stefanie. Pippa feels guilty about her contribution to Yvonne's investigation.
Franz accuses Deidre of murdering a patient, but is proved wrong. Deidre resigns, but not before she spreads terror about superbugs and the accountability of nurses. Franz begs Gideon to forgive him - without success. Yvonne suggests that Gideon emigrates to Canada.
