high heels drama

if you are one of those ladies who loves strutting her stuff in high heeled shoes then you probarbly been through some kind of trauma because of your oh so favourate stilletos.

and you probarly walked down the road still looking faboulus and all but you can feel your small toe about to pop up out of the shoe.

i have been through it , needless to say it was an unforeseen circumstance that required me to carry a heavy laptop and a camera walking a distance of about 25minutes.

in all that drama you keep your head up and pretend as though you are not enving the lady next to you who is wearing her pumps.

well, if u can keep going under pressure then you know you a true-heel walker( i made term up)

however there are those that simply do not know how to walk a heel but insists on wearing them and you notice this by bent kneels as they walk and the body language says it all.

Ladies please if you do not know how to walk in it then do not buy it or practice at home first.

before i forgot, please leave your heels if you going for a long hour shopping, going anywhere with toddlers unless of course if you can manage to chase them in a 110mm heeled shoe.

and of course we can ditch our heels plus the drama add wear ..

these comfy babies everyday but hell no, we love the confidence, body posture and everything else that comes with wearing heels, including the drama.

ladies, any heel drama you want to share?

I am guilty as charged... I recently bought a per of peep toes , i am very confident with my heels and i've never had problems with them but this pair oooh they are cormfy and all but right at the toes they were very tight Gaad i spend the whole day in pain i only felt the pain when i was in the office and unfortunately i had no extra pair horrible horible day it was

@ jazz ...horrible horible day it was shame sorry i feel you

I normally compensate my height with heels, so i can rock heels everywhere without pain but my bad experience was with a broken heel.

Went to the Park with my sister's kids ended playing a soccer match in heels, yeah that was blond , the heel broke where we were parked and where we were it was miles , i had to walk bare footed yuck gross no wonder street kids have black feet all the time.

I am not a heels person, I tend to feel pity for the poor heel that will have to carry my heavy weight he whole day...........LOL.........just kidding, I am tall and I think I've got enough height so I don't do heels, but I rather wear a shoe that sikaza ukuba iheel, u know the heel that's not to high and I stay far far away from ama pencil heels (stilletos).........I'll leave that to the shorties...........LOL

Will this ain't my stor but i'll tell it anyway. When i was in matric high heels were part of our uniform...so there's this prefect that was chasing some girls who were bunking and both her heels broke of wabuya eseshaya ngama-Pumps mntakwethu which was quite funny...

Mina Im quite tall, taller than most of my friends I might add but I rock my stilletos, the highest (I believe in going big or go home), I lurv every pair but I recently bought ones for my graduation n I was wearing them last week. Yo my feet were aching so much, I was sitting @ my desk the whole day. I only stood only to go to the bathroom...I started getting corns thanks to my pinkie getting squashed all the time..

Its so bad that I have tricks that I do when my feet are beginning to give in..But I love them despite all the pain (as they say.. beauty is under nyamezela..)

Well i do wear high heel but i always keep a back-up with me hence i have never experienced high-heel drama. They r not my favourite shoes anyway so i always look forwad to a weekend(wear heels Monday to Thursday then sunday at church and occasional on sat when i have to attend functions/weddings) so i can rock my all-stars or tekkies

I don't do heels, i have them but i don't wear them. My feet are not narrow and slim so i don't squash and fold them into a tiny heel. I don't mind high-heeled boots tho' cos they offer balance around the ankle.
Back in varsity I was wearing a heel boot on my way to the train going home, my heel broke and the train had not yet arrived. I walked into that station with my head up limping with the broken heel in my hand while wearing both boots (well, one and a half). People looked, but i was too embarassed to care, luckily i had two frnds with me. I asked them for chappies so i could put the heel together, it stuck for a few minutes but came off. I was desperately looking for those train vendors who sell superglue for R2,50 but alas none came. Mind you, my journey included changing trains. I just sat there and forgot about it....

@Nonny ).........I'll leave that to the shorties...........LOL, uyahlanya leave shorties alone, i will make u thath'ikhava manje!

I feel so not me with flats, my colleagues give me funny looks when i am wearing flats as they only associate me with heels. Try having a child on your back & have heels on and try jumping onto a taxi. I rocked them until i was eight months pregnant and the heel broke at work bcos of the weight, I work at the mall so it was easier to get another shoe . I have pumps but they are too flat for my liking, i wear them to go to the Yeoville market for veggies.

BA i only have 3 pairs of takkies and they are over 3 years and the warm kiddy-type warm boots which you tuck your pants, its so difficult for me to buy takkies.

Off Topic ... guys i need your urgent help ... anyone who can help me with the website where i can fing design for S'shweshwe dresses ..Pls, have a traditional function to attend next week Please

I like heels, but only wear them for extra special occasions. That's if I can find a pair that actually fits!I'm a size 2-3,so its very difficult for me to find shoes, cos sometimes size 3 is a bit too big for me,last year my boyfriend surprised me with a pair of very stunning(If I may say so myself) peep toes,in a size 3,alas!!They were too big,and sneng-neng I decided to use my shoelaces from some other pair of shoes, and tied them around my ankles,it actually got the shoes to stay on my feet, and not flip flop around the whole time, its actually a tip I learned from a collegue of mine.So if you have a pair of peep toes that flip flop around, them buy nice lace ribbons in the same color,at the back of your shoe(where your ankle goes),there's a thing you put your ribbon in through there and tie the ribbon around your ankles, but you can only pull it off if you are going to be wearing long pants(For abvious reasons)

My heel story has got absolutely nothing to do with the walk. I like to believe that I master the walk.

BUT...
For my final presentation at varsity, I decided to rock some stilletoes and look proffessional.

The presentation went very well and everyone clapped at the end.

I walked down the stairs...with a Colgate Smile... my eyes on my crush of four years..sitting right at the back...
Next thing I was on the floor.

That was so embarrasing.

And I heard some girl say.. "heei.. izinto esizifaka kuzo!"

Believe, me... for graduation, I was in my pumps. I could never make the same miistake twice.

I drank so much hoping to kill da pain but hey it worked for few minutes then back to square -1. whenver i go shopping for shoes my mom always says i should not buy heels and i agree but when i get to the shops i cant stop my self from buying them. she reckons i have enough heels to last for a long time. i do have some flat shoes and sneakers but heels are my number one followed by handbags-the two goes together and its almot impossible to love one and hate the other and they have to be of good quality hence i do not just buy from any shop.

Mna i feel more tired when wearing flats, my feet get so sore. I share your sentiments... My friends think I am using this as an excuse to tower above them because Im 1.78m tall plus an extra inch of a heel. But I always keep a pair of pumps under my car seat and another one under my office desk.

My strappy stilletos were once burried in a stinking mud at the graveyard during a funeral, when I tried to pull my leg the straps went up with my foot and she whole sandal was left on the ground. I was so embarassed, I went to sit down in a tent with the mourning family. Understandable since I was mourning my cheap sandal and my dented ego!
