Wow guys this is my first TV blog and plz be nice u are welcome to share ur views about this show cuming up Monday 23 June on etv at 21h00 called Shooting Stars.

Well here is the background of the show. Shooting Stars is an exciting drama series set in the world of South African soccer, charting the fortunes of a number of players and their club over three yrs leading up to the 2010 World Cup.
The focus of the series is Shooting Stars - a club who we first encounter when they are relegated from the PSL to the Super League. The struggle of the club to return to ther former glory becomes the backdrop to individual stories of hope, courage, camaraderie, temptation,success and failure.

The story has been structured to be broadcast in three blocks. Each block follows the activities of the players and the club through a soccer season. The strory arcs of the characters have been conceived to be told in these blocks and to deliver a complete and satisfying journey over the three yrs.

There are two teams in this show. 1. Shooting Stars - Owned by Bra Vic ( Victor)
                                                               2. Dragons - Owned by Neo
Neo & Bra Vic are big enemies and seems like they have a no good history together.They both have one child each and whom seem to be close gud friends.Neo doe'nt like it a bit that her son is gud friends with Bra Vic's daughter. Both their children have love for music but Neo wants her son to be more involved into the team so that when she retires he can take over.Bra Vic on the other hand loves what his daughter doing.

Bra Vic's daughter is dating the Stars Captain and a new player frm Nigeria came in the scene and changed all that.She falls inlove with him and the Captain is'nt aware that his galfriend is cheating on him and he wants to marry her nut she refused.The Nigerian is madly inlove with her and on top of that he is the Captain's room mate.

Here are some of the other characters, Sechaba  is the lead of the team, he is false arrogant, selfish and greedy. All he ever done is play soccer, he has been a brightest star in his team's galaxy. He has represented his country, played for SA has played over seas for a season and has been a member of PSL team.He loves flashy clothes, flashy cars and flashy women, gambles, drinks, and hangs out with dodgy characters, such as Spokes, who owns the Ace of Clubs.He is married with kid and is cheating on his wife.

Spokes is a owner of Ace of Clubs and he is well known with his illegal dealings.

Muzi is the Dragons goalkeeper at the start of the series. He became a single father to his 8 yrs old daughter, Bongi when his wife died. Muzi adores Bongi and often comes to watch him play. Muzi has a heart condition and when Neo discovers this, she sels him off to the Shooting Stars without informing them of it.He also keeps it a secret frm other Stars team. He takes pills frm the clinic, to try and supress his condition. Soccer is his life and dream and he'll risk anything to keep playing, even his life. He is a joker of the team.

Wandile is the central character in Shooting Stars.Soccer is defining passion in Wandile's life.It gives him strength and direction.He is frm KZN, his father died when he was young and his mother has been  the sole provider and caretaker of Wandile and Lindelani his younger brother.She has worked in menial jobs in order to provide for her children.Wandile has been a great fan of Sechaba and he left school to be on the try outs for Stars and earned a role there. He left without telling her mom he told only his brother.
