Our Society

What have our society come too? Thats a good question I might say cause looking around It makes me think what is the future generation going to be like. Im a youth and it saddens me that today most youth expect handouts. Sorry to say but we must stop blaming everyone else but ourselves. There is alot of opportunities for young people and if we work hard and keep knocking on doors eventually they have to open so please we blaim our situation on our background, upbring, poverty, broken home and the  famous one apartheid. Now im not saying those factors dont play a part in where we are today but what Im saying is use those to get you where you want to be. There's a saying that goes like this

"There are three types of people in this world, those who makes things happen, they who wait for things to happen and those who wonder when things are going to happen.Well my peeps I choose to be in the first group which group do you choose?"

ARE YOU JULIUS MALEMA?This sounds like something that would be  recited in an ANCYL damage control meeting.

Well I dont mean to be pessimistic, but the sad thing about knocking on doors nowadays, is that when you eventually get the right door, they change the locks, so why bother knocking on doors when you know you are doomed for inevitable (for lack of a better word), failure

They say dont let obstacles stand in teh way of ur success, but when you break the doors (for the locks have changed), they cry crime and corruption, Jacob Zuma was right, he is not even hlaf-guilty for corruption.

You're quoting your decision as well? I thought it was "there are 3 kinds of people; those who make things happen, those who wait for things to happen and those who wonder what happened?

OneWish, i'm all for having a positive attitude and taking resonsibility for your life and the decisions you take.

Sorry to say but we must stop blaming everyone else but ourselves. U are making a simplistic view and don't show that u've actually proven that all those factors you mention are 'our' fault. Anyway, practically, how do u keep knocking on doors and working hard given your background, upbringing, poverty, broken home and apartheid?

A child is taught how to cross the road
A child is taught how to tie his/her shoe laces
A child is taught how to feed themselves, bath themselves, and clothe themselves

My mother taught me how to knock, tap three times and wait for the response, then tap again, three taps at a time.

Surely young people in South Africa cannot be expected to teach themselves, know how to fend for themselves without proper guidance and education. A lion cannot survive out in the wild if it wasn’t taught to haunt.

This cliché is getting old and boring. Teach a child to walk and tomorrow he will run by himself. Not let him teach himself whilst you sit in the sun and smoke his future away.

I think our society has become hell, well no one has been there but i know for sure that its a place no one wishes to be in.From what i know its a place where no one cares on peoples well being.Ive never imagined myself or anyone young as i am having to aborte and careless.Well some i dont blame but still its not a good thing to make a habit.Well what can i say we are given rights but we are abusing them.

If The Music could keep on Playing

If the music could keep on playing, sweet are the sounds and
Bells of the song that is filled with a sensational rhythm.
Jazz it is but not as lazy as it sounds, as it fills an innocent soul with hope for a better life.

Sweet is the sounds of the music as it puts me in a station were fantasy is my mission for my vision.
A vision which is the predications of my thoughts as it encourages me with a curious courageous hope.

Sweet is the music that reminds me of my loved one, the beautiful women of my dreams,
Presents in thoughts but absent in nature, I long to see her as I long for a better life.
Beautiful she is like the founder of nature,
Sweet is the sound that connects me to you and you unto me as I feel the vibe to life
For a life made from love and treasured for a better life.

Sounds that awakes the birds of life as the birds sings along,
It is the music to start the day and end the night,
It is the rhythm to my city, music to my ears, my daily bread of life,
It is the music that melts the poles and travels around the universe.

Inspirational music that connects with me spiritually as it bonds with me physically,
It is the sound of a music that tells a story, surely a poem told by a poet, not by puppets
But by singing voices of wisdom, sang with a soft voice full of hope, a voice of an African Queen,
The Queen of my heart and the love of my life,
the Women of my dreams, my next step to the future and my everlasting joy.

It is this Music that reminds me of you, it is this music that connects me to you and you unto to me.
Let love rise in our hearts, let us plant joy and reap life, if the music could keep on playing I will feel the joy into the fullest as hope is what I get and joy to give is what I pledge.
