The theme for Saturday night's episode of HSM: Spotlight SA was Friendship and the show opened with what's become the cast's theme song: We’re All In This Together.

The performers had a busy week, including a visit from South African songstress Lira. Lira spent a day with the HSM company, sharing her experiences in the entertainment industry and assisting Musical Director Charl-Johan Lingenfelder in coaching the performers in their songs.

Earlier in the week the Top 14 also visited a Red Cross hospital in Cape Town to spread some joy.

The performers were once more divided into couples to act out this week’s High School Musical scene, filmed on location in Cape Town. In keeping with the theme, they acted out the This Is Me scene from HSM, in which Troy shares his favourite secret spot with Gabriella.

I watched for the first time and was quite impressed by some of the contestants. They've got alot to work on the acting part, it seem at the moment very forceful, some are believable but others are playing up too much. Overall the singing is not too bad either.
