Last Thursday night (10 Oct.) the Channel O Awards were held at a shindig at Carnival City. The evening started with the arrival of the award nominees and other schlebs and then moved into the Big Top where all the winners were announced.

3sum's Amstel Maboa and Koyo Bala - who weren't nominated for anything, just there to be in on the action.

Paramedic Bling was on stand-by all night to deal with fashion emergencies aka sudden heart attacks from skirts.

Khanyi Mbau, who wasn't doing anything except socialising. Her dress was a wrap of material with a beaded costume type number underneath.

Just before leaving as a result of Amarula overload - slugged back at least 10 cocktails - I spotted Nonhle Thema trying to match my record, sitting at the bar, chatting to Da L.E.S.
