New on SET in November, 2008:

As If 3
Premiere date: Friday, 7 November at 19h00
Continues with double episodes on Fridays at 19h00

as_if

The third and final season of As If is all about moving on.

Jamie, Sooz, Nicki, Alex, Sasha and Rob have left Sixth Form College and left home, and are now faced with the big wide world. As they step into adulthood and begin to reassess themselves and their relationships with each other, personalities and friendships begin to shift.

All friends, all around eighteen, all stars in their own drama. Each half hour episode of As If is shot from one of the group's point of view, as though that character is having a movie made of their own life.

Each of the six feels that this gives them control over the story they choose to tell, but we can see around the edges and between the lines, and the gang is less like the cast of Friends than they like to think.

Missing 3 (Rebroadcast)
Premiere Date: Thursday, 13 November 2008 at 19h00
Continues on Thursdays at 19h00

This FBI procedural drama, with a psychic twist, returns for its third season.

Nicole Scott (Vivica A. Fox) is a maverick agent assigned to missing-persons cases, who is reluctantly paired with Jess Mastriani (Caterina Scorsone), a young psychic whose visions show clues to the location of the missing.

Detailed to carry out some on-the-job training with Jess, Nicole’s unorthodox methods of interrogation and investigation often go beyond the Bureau’s accepted guidelines.

Love Monkey (Rebroadcast)
Premiere date: Friday, 21 November 2008 at 20h00

lovemonkey_large

Based on the book by Kyle Smith, Love Monkey is a dramedy that centres round a 30-something record executive and his three male friends, each at different stages of love and life.

Tom Farrell loves women and music, but not necessarily in that order. As he navigates a fine line between fun and commitment, his brother-in-law, Dr. Mike Freed, prepares for impending fatherhood.

Shooter Cooper is a man who's always looking for someone new and ex-New York Mets star Jake Dunne is a man so irresistible to women he can afford to be choosy.

All four of them are intent on making names for themselves, in more ways than one.

Through the series Tom and his friends face the pleasures and pitfalls of dating and marriage from their own perspectives while trying to learn what really makes a woman tick.

Starring: Thomas Cavanagh (Ed), Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills, 90210), Larenz Tate (Ray) and Christopher Wiehl (Playmakers)

Just Shoot Me 4 (Rebroadcast)
Premiere date: Tuesday, 25 November, 2008 at 17h15
Continues: Mondays to Fridays at 17h15

Life at Blush magazine continues to be unpredictable in the fourth season of Just Shoot Me. In the wake of his marriage to supermodel Adrienne (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), Finch (David Spade) has to work hard to fend off the competition if he’s going to hang on to her.

Maya (Laura San Giacomo) and Elliott (Enrico Colantoni) decide to have their own accidental marriage annulled, but begin to find their attraction to one another impossible to resist.

Meanwhile, Jack (George Segal) wants nothing more than to one-up fellow tycoon Donald Trump’s birthday gift, while Nina (Wendie Malick) tries to capitalize on what she overhears during one of her boss’s therapy sessions.
