On Tuesday (11 November 2008)
Special Assignment premieres a series of documentaries themed around next years general election.
In a departure from the show's regular format, each episode of the series will host a debate between players in SA's political arena and will include a 10-minute background insert.
The first episode brings together representatives from political parties who've been identified as laying claim to being the 'true voice' of the country's youth.
Panelists who'll thrash out the issues and explain themselves include Floyd Shibawu of the ANC Youth League, Cornelius Jansen van Rensburg of the Freedom Front Plus and Anele MDA from the SADC party.
The debate will be moderated by Institute for Security Studies researcher Prince Mashele.
Special Assignment is on SABC3 on Tuesdays at 21h30.
