Schmodel, television presenter and ex WAG,
Minki Visser (née van der Westhuizen) has been named the new SA spokesperson for the Garnier Nutrisse haircare range.
Minki, who's currently a presenter on SABC2's magazine show
Pasella, will be the face of Garnier's new Luscious Vanilla Sorbet range - a summer collection of permanent haircolour products.
She takes over from
Top Billing's
Jeannie D, who's been their official spokesperson since May this year for their copper collection Brown Animation.
Minki will represent the range wearing the colour 9.1 Lychee - one of three colours in the collection that also includes Camomile and Blonde Aphrodite.
Born in Durbanville, Cape Town, Minki achieved international fame in 2004 when she started dating SA cricket captain Graeme Smith, shortly after being listed on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2003.
In between then and now she's appeared on numerous magazine covers, been named FHM's Sexiest Woman in SA, launched Minki's Book Club - a reading programme for underpriviledged children - and
been snapped in the bath drinking champagne while getting ready for her 21st.
In 2006 her relationship with Graeme dissolved and in 2007 she married businessman Constant Visser.
