Mina I like the idea of COPE but with Tat'uMandela still breathing - out of respect for him I am not voting for anyone. When he leaves us - then I'll start associating myself formally with COPE...

I respect Madiba tooo much to vote for another party.

Tell you what we all have our own reason why we vote for particular parties-and after a while-as all democracies in Africa have shown-loyalty breeds complacency and arrogance.

I really wish that the week after Madiba has passed away the truths about the first elections should come out-not only that, also the fact that there was no 27 years he spent in Prison.

I really hope and pray that the ikes of De Klerk,Tutu, the Apartheid generals,et al,will come out and tell us how was this "democracy" decided and who got the most spoils of war....

The good thing about our country is that there is "democracy".Each and every person has a right to choose which political party they want to associate with.Even me I am not sure about anything but that people should not be threatened by others......I was thinking of starting my own political party "Fashion PF" .Should I be scared?NO.We have many political parties and not one should be threatened for whatever reason.....I am interested in knowing more about COPE.....Then I make my choice, which no one has to know (my vote is my secret). So if theres someone willing to canvass for Cope, email me ( contactus@mailbox.co.za).
I wonder how many people belonging to other political parties decide to vote for another party.Hmmmm...imagine Ntate Zuma putting an X on the COPE presidential candidate going like ...nxa, suka wena maan.I finally get to use my mshini (pen) on you, babababaaaaaaaaa.

Right there I agree 100% with you.

What makes me angry is the audacity of people dishing other people’s blogs and not coming with their OWN which they think are better than other blogs. If you do not like the article skip the damn article and move on. I guess it is in their nature to dish any article that does conform to their thinking.

@Cande...........Who's on Jam Alley, I saw someone bit old there?

When I see Terror, i count the days, he will soon have the heart attack.

But all these COPE members should say nothing about service delivery, they were ANC yesterday and today they say ANC has failed dismall.................no, no, no,no, it is so wrong. They must say we all failed dismally.

As I was watching the news and saw Zola Skweyiya behing the hopeful Msholozi, what a torture, man just follow Shikota, we all know how you felt about the sacking of PRESIDENT Thabo Mbeki.

PS: He is still my president.

To answer the question, I don't know if they will COPE, all I can guarantee is a new party will emerge from them, it might not be now but it will.

Sobza
12 Dec 2008 19:57

We are COPEing, the few months that we've been in existence.  And expect us to grow in the next coming months. No opposition party has garnered so much support in three months. Thanx to ANC for the support
