New on e.tv in January 2008:

NB TIME CHANGES

In January e.tv's introducing two new WWE companion shows. As a result, the times of recurring series such as Forgive and Forget and 3rd Degree will change their regular times.

Other changes include double bills of both Curb Your Enthusiasm and America's Next Top Model 5.

Here's a look at the new January schedule, with confirmed times:

NEW SHOWS

Rebroadcast: Backstage
Premiere date: Monday, 5 January 2009 at 16h40
Runs weekdays at the same time

A re-run of the soapie Backstage - starting from Season 1.

Curb Your Enthusiasm 6
Premiere date: Monday, 5 January at 21h00
Double episodes from 21h00 - 21h30 and 21h30 - 22h00

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns for a sixth season and goes out in double bills weeky.

The show follows the life of Larry David, the co-creator, writer and executive producer of Seinfeld. Larry is now a semi-retired multi millionaire with loads of time on his hands to make mischief. Hand held cameras follow the antics of this neurotic individual at home, at work and on the street.

Cheryl David (Cheryl Hines) plays his loving and patient wife who has to contend with his bizarre behaviour. His manager, Jeff Greene (Jeff Garlin) is his side kick who helps him out of tricky predicaments. Jeff’s wife, Susie Greene (Susie Essman) is fed up with their old age antics and wants nothing to do with them.

Larry’s best friend, Richard Lewis (as himself) is a stand-up comedian and a recovering alcoholic. In season five he begged Larry to donate one of his kidneys’s to save his life. Other high profile actors with reoccurring guest roles include Ted Danson, Jason Alexander, David Swimmer and Ben Stiller.

WWE: Bottom Line
Premiere date: Monday, 19 January at 20h00

WWE: Bottom Line is a one-hour companion show to WWE:RAW. Hosted by Jack Korpela, it recaps events currently happening on RAW.

WWE: Afterburn
Premiere date: Tuesday, 20 January at 20h00

Another companion show to WWE. Hosted by Josh Matthews, the show recaps what's happening in WWE: Smackdown!

Forgive & Forget 3
Premiere date: Tuesday, 20 January 2008 at 21h00

A new season of Forgive & Forget helps more people reunite with the friends or relatives they’ve wronged in the past. Season 2 host Doris Msibi returns to guide people through the process.
