Monday, 5 January 2009Daniel tries to rekindle his relationship with Nadia, but she's holding out for a serious commitment. Maletsatsi really wants to redecorate the flat, but Eddie's penny pinching ways aren't helping.
Keketso is frustrated with her life and searches for a new way to define who she is. Phillips, the accountant, is becoming a problem and Daniel reaches out to an unlikely source for help.
Tuesday, 6 January 2009Maletsatsi is excited about hosting the next gathering of the church ladies at her "redecorated" flat. Shakira gives Morongwe proof that's she's more qualified than Nadia for the editor job but Morongwe isn't able to convince Daniel.
Meanwhile, Nadia asserts her editorial authority over Shakira. Keketso invites a wary Mangi to the Hip-Hop Xperience, while she also rekindles her friendship with Nhlanhla.
Wednesday, 7 January 2009Daniel reveals he'd like nothing more than for Nadia to move in with him, but Mangi's not really sure how he feels about it. Eddie can't understand why Maletsatsi wants new couches, but Palesa senses Maletsatsi's lonely and is looking for distractions.
Keketso is toying with becoming a graffiti artist, and explains to Mangi that it's a way of expressing herself and exploring her identity. Shakira over-rides Nadia's editorial decision without consulting with Nadia first, and all hell breaks out in the newsroom. Could Daniel be embezzling his estranged wife Leticia's funds?
Thursday, 8 January 2009The NZH board is shocked when Nadia offers her resignation; Shakira on the other hand is thrilled. Maletsatsi slips further into her web of deceit when she buys furniture for much more than she and Eddie had agreed upon.
Keketso offers Mmadika the full wealth of her knowledge of the graffiti scene, when Mmadika mentions that she wants to write an article about it. Daniel, pushed into a corner, and determined not to lose Nadia, proposes marriage to her.
Monday, 12 January 2009Daniel waits anxiously. It's been three days and Nadia hasn't replied to his question. Maletsatsi's new furniture arrives and she lies to Eddie about the price.
Keketso wants to share her new enthusiasm with her friends but she faces objections from Lentswe. Daniel finally manages to get Phillips to behave himself, only to get an alarming phone call.
Tuesday, 13 January 2009Daniel assures Mangi that the marriage to Nadia won't affect their father-son relationship. Meanwhile, Nadia isn't thrilled to hear about Leticia coming to town. Maletsatsi continues lying to Eddie regarding the price of the furniture she's brought.
Keketso starts "tagging" illegally, which she doesn't reveal to Mangi. Nadia hands in her written resignation, and Shakira pushes her too far. Daniel is freaked out about the embezzlement becoming known to Leticia, and asks Alex to tap Phillip's phone.
Wednesday, 14 January 2009Palesa wants Maletsatsi to tell Eddie the truth about how much the new furniture she's bought on hire-purchase really costs. Shakira is concerned that Nadia will change her mind about resigning, and is frustrated that she still has to take orders from her.
Leticia's imminent arrival has Phillips increasingly anxious; making Daniel more and more convinced that Phillips is a serious liability. Disappointed by Mmadika's approach to the graffiti article and irritated by Mangi's meddling, a defiant Keketso decides to make a very bold statement.
Thursday, 15 January 2009Maletsatsi is relieved she doesn't have to make a furniture payment this month, and she still doesn't tell Eddie how much the new furniture really cost. Leticia arrives earlier than expected. When she meets Nadia, she has no idea she's meeting the woman with whom her husband's romantically involved.
Morongwe accuses Keketso of vandalising NZH's outside wall, and tasks Palesa with going through the security footage to find proof that Keketso is the culprit. Daniel wants to break the news to Leticia about him and Nadia, but before he does Leticia announces she's fallen in love and she wants an immediate divorce.
Monday, 19 January 2009Daniel is backed into a corner when Leticia refuses to postpone the divorce. Tino is intrigued by the mystery woman at RT's. Keketso realizes she's bitten off more than she can chew when Lentswe tells her about the security tape. Mmadika pleads on Keketso's behalf when Morongwe wants her punished to the full extent of the law.
Tuesday, 20 January 2009Leticia accidentally reveals to Shakira that she and Daniel are getting divorced, and Nadia tells Daniel that she can't stand the cloud of secrecy surrounding their engagement.
When he sees her leave RT's with an older man, Tino is certain that Erin, whom he's infatuated with, is the 'Sheila Dennis' on a business card advertising her services as an escort.
Leticia informs Daniel that he will no longer control her companies after the divorce, and tells him to set up a meeting with their lawyer, to work out the terms of their divorce. Daniel is in a corner, and phones Neo to financially bail him out.
Wednesday, 21 January 2009Leticia is not budging; she wants a divorce immediately; Daniel is in a major panic as it becomes clear that his embezzlement of Leticia's companies is about to be uncovered. Leticia suggests to Daniel, a party to announce their divorce and impending marriages to the board. Daniel is horrified.
Tino starts to actively pursue "Sheila Dennis", but the lady doesn't seem to be interested, at all. Morongwe pardons Keketso for the graffiti she did on the NZH building; Keketso, to Mangi's consternation, is tempted however when she is invited to "bomb" a police station.
Thursday, 22 January 2009Keketso accepts her punishment for defacing the NZH building but still feels the need to express herself. The battle between Shakira and Nadia grows more intense, but Shakira has a surprise in store for her.
Tino is still trying to find out more about his mystery girl, fortunately information comes from an unexpected meeting. Nadia discovers that Daniel hasn't been entirely truthful with her regarding Letitia's motivations.
Monday, 26 January 2009Daniel's world starts to unravel when Leticia confronts him about his embezzling funds from her companies. Keketso and Lentswe find themselves in a good space together and seem to be coming to terms with just being friends.
Nadia prompts Shakira to agree to a truce between them, for the sake of the magazine and the staff. A desperate Daniel tries to prevent Leticia from exposing his criminal deeds, but his attempt at saving his skin goes horribly wrong.
Tuesday, 27 January 2009Fearing reprisals, Daniel doesn't report Leticia's death to the police. Instead, he stuffs her body into the boot of his car and tries to find a place to dispose of her. The Hip-Hop jam and graffiti workshop at the community centre are a huge success.
Daniel has to lie to Nadia, whom he stood up for dinner. He also sends Mangi to Cape Town on an errand, to keep him from coming home until the next day. Alex finds it strange that Leticia would negotiate a divorce settlement with Daniel, knowing that he's embezzled millions from her companies.
Keketso tells Mangi that she doesn't want to date him. Daniel runs out of options, and ends up burying Leticia in his garden at home.
Wednesday, 28 January 2009Daniel cleans up where Leticia died but finds one of her hairs in the boot of his car. He arranges to have the vehicle stolen. Daniel wants to install a large bird bath above the filled-in hole of the koi pond - the exact location where he buried Leticia! Shakira learns that Erin's clothing is being manufactured in a sweatshop. Erin vehemently denies this.
Thursday, 29 January 2009Daniel gets rid of the last obstacle that stands in his way of freedom. Shakira hits the right chord with Nadia when she shows her the story she's been working on. Estate is finally getting the much-awaited revamp.
