Wassup dear readers! So I'm in a bit of a good mood today (meaning I got nothing to do) so I've decided to share what caught my eye in the papers this Sunday....
Truth be told, there is nothing interesting to read about in the tabloids these days and that's why I've stopped buying (online reading) & lost interest in doing the "reviews" or discussion blogs zomgosi...or maybe there are interesting topics, it's just that I'm getting old....mmhh...asazi....
Before I get to what's in the news....please allow me to share the highlights of my week...
First up is definitely Paul Mtirara from Metro FM:
I couldn't believe my ears when I heard him say, live on air:
".........today we have a new feature on the show, which I'm not happy about but we have to do it. After every commercial break we have to play a local track......."
These may not be his exact words but yeah he was introducing the new feature that he is not too happy with but did it coz he HAD to do it.
Now, first of all, why is he being forced to do a feature on his show that he's not happy with? Segale again? Lol
What that little comment told me is that someone is autocratic and not consulting the DJ's & get their thoughts and input on the suggested changes. That's how it works isn't it?
My second highlight was brought by ACE from GENERATIONS!
Unfortunately I don't have a pic of Ace or his real name but heish, props to him for making me laugh so much....
If you missed Generations, Ace went to visit
Khethiwe and when he heard that she was no longer the face of La Chocolada (sp), Ace told Khethiwe :
"But you were the reason why I was buying the chocolates! I'm not gonna buy the chocolates anymore, they've just lost a valuable customer!"
Writing it doesn't sound as funny but hey, there was something about the emotion in his voice & the expression on his face when he said this that made it the funniest thing I've heard in Generations in ages. Also the most stupid!
Like, who cares about Aids buying chocolates!
"Sharon Dee sues Peter Ndlovu for maintenance"
According to the Sunday World, Sharon Dee is demanding R36000+ a month from Peter Ndlovu, former Sundowns player who's supposedly playing for Thanda Royal (the club we trashed 2-1 today).
The paper reports that Sharon wants Peter to pay R13 000 for each of the two kids and R10000 to her because she pays pays more than R4 500 a month in school fees for the two kids.
R36 000????? Wow, how much does Peter Ndlovu earn kanti & why must his ex-wife go to court for him to maintain his kids?
My black brothers you dissapoint me with this whole "papgeld" thing... How do you look at your kids mara?
And it's always the well paid ones abasokolisayo
:-(

Josta Dladla moving to Kaizer Chiefs!!
So the rumour that Josta Dladla is moving to Naturena is sort of confirmed...
Mmh...I think Josta will fit in very well in our team, he must just not bring us "skhokhololo" sa Sundowns ko Chiefs.
Chiefs must please slaughter a white chicken & bamgeze ngesiwasho when he arrives. We can't afford to have ibhadi lase Chloorkop brought to our team!
Welcome Josta...we could use more cuties in the team!

Thandiswa Mazwai is hogging the headlines for ALL THE RIGHT REASONS and she says she hates tabloids and being a celebrity....
We're all waiting for her 2nd solo offering with much anticipation....thanks to her brillian single "INGOMA" which has been dominating the airwaves these past few weeks. We are really fortunate to still have artists as dedicated to their work as Thandiswa is and I also believe that being a good musician is not releasing an album every year for the sake of releasing. It should always be about what they are releasing to us....
Anyway, the Sunday Times & City Pulse Magazines both put the Diva on their covers. I enjoyed reading both interviews so if you're a fan of Thandiswa, or just want to know more about her....read on....
“I know many people think I have a bad attitude, but it’s just that I really try to avoid some of these celebrity-related things. Being a celebrity is the most boring thing in the world. I don’t crave that lifestyle. I just wish that I could do my work, get paid and go home..... Read more in
