Spotted! filming at the J&B MET, last Saturday (31 January 2009) at Kenilworth Race Track:

Who?

Tammy-Anne Fortuin - presenter on the kykNet's lifestyle show Roer and Miss SA runner-up 2002 (when she lost out to Cindy Nell, SO blind).

She's also currently co-hosting the talk show Luv Sport with Bobby Skinstad - on Fridays at 21h00 on Supersport 1.

Up to what?

Interviewing the winners of the Best Dressed Couple at the MET for a pilot episode of All Access - a new Red Carpet show covering glitzy events starring celebs, fashion, high-end lifestyle shindigs and so on. Apparently the style of it aims to give Top Billing a run for it's money.

The 411

M-Net's commissioning all sorts of new local shows this year and they've introduced pilot episodes as the standard set-up for a show to be accepted.

Production companies can propose their ideas, if M-Net likes it they'll commission a pilot, once it's completed they run it by a test audience and if they enjoy it M-Net will then commission a full series.

Tammy-Anne's also a producer and proposed the show to them last year. Word is it's not certain if she'll be presenting or mostly produce but there's going to be a couple of presenters either way - reporting from round the country.

If the pilot gets accepted for a series - which pretty much sounds like a "signed!" from the talk surrounding it  - the show will premiere in June.

BDC Close-Up

Best Dressed winners Jonathan Nel and Cara Burger. I didn't agree with their win at all - those sunnies, hat and baggy jacket-shoulders are too ridiculous.
