Last week Friday (6th Feb) TVSA was invited to be on set with Rhythm City cast when they hosted winners of the Rhythm Cityzen Competition.
This was the competition....
"Three Rhythm Cityzens and their guests will be flown to Johannesburg and will be treated in true VIP fashion. Winners will spend a day on the set of Rhythm City and will rub shoulders with the cast and crew. You'll be wined and dined and accommodated at the 5-star Hotel.
To enter refer a friend to the world of rhythm city. Simply SMS 'R.E.F.' and your friends cell number to 34330." These are the winners and what they got to see/do during that day........

I don't know if it was a coincidence or what but it so happened that all the winners from Gauteng so there were no flights to worry about but I can confirm that the gals were really treated like VIP's and had a fabulous time!
They spent 2 nights at the Michelangelo Towers and were driven around in a stretch limo. It wasn't the most beautiful limo but hey, a limo's a limo right? Especially if it's your first time in it...lol.

When Jamie Bartlett (David Genaro) came to greet the winners, .Babongile started going all Xhosa Teary Drama Queen on us .....

Nobuhle (who really is beautiful) handled the interview like a pro though....
Babongile's tears seemed to dry up long enough for a proper pic to be taken.....until....
....Nokuthula aka Tshidi Khuse came to say hi.... *sigh*
The girl even has her own dressing room! Halla back!
And...we'd appreciate a translation if anyone knows what language that is? Maybe siyathukwa....

And they don't use the same make up brushes for everyone....each actress has her own kit.
Being a soap actress is so cool....they even get to have their hair relaxed there!!
Percy Vilakazi was the tour guide. He's a Storyliner and in charge of Music on the show....

Kagiso Malefane who won the Best Art Direction Award at the SAFTA's. Nothing artistic about his look or office mara he's artistic where it matters right? Lol.

There were auditions held on the same day so I suspect Zimkhitha was there for that purpose.
Some of the people spotted there for the auditions were Phuthi Khomo, Thami Afrika, who looks like he's on steroids and Mampho-Molete Brescia who looks beautiful without the extra long eyelashes she had on.
Keke, whom we all know as Dinana from Soul City also works behind the scenes on the show.
After being introduced to the crew, it was time for the winners to visit the set...

Yho, Refilwe Seseane is good bathong! Watching her in action was amazing....I just think she's got this acting thing on lockdown. Hope she'll be in the soapie for long..

I don't know if it was just me but Zenzo seemed a bit uptight ....& I was kinda disappointed coz he was part of the reason why I agreed to go there.
Firstly he got there late & didn't even seem interested in even interacting with the winners....
I still love him though and I wish he had won the Best Actor award.
The friendliest guy was no doubt......

Egoli, Scandal & Rhythm City are all shot at Sasani Studios where we had the Big Brother house.
Yeah, I agree, he doesn't look like the same guy who was on Menshealth what-what?
After that long day, the crew/cast & winners got ready for a party at FTV Sandton. I couldn't join them for the party coz I caught a flu virus at the Khuse house......
