- A rebroadcast of the now-infamous Joaquin Phoenix appearance on Letterman, parodied by Ben Stiller at this year’s Oscars. Invited onto the show to promote his new movie, Two Lovers, which co-stars Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow, he failed to do so. The interview, which generated over two and a half million hits on the Late Show website and has generated a lot of web-speculation that it was an act. It was described by www.rollingstone.com as possibly “the most paranoid, drugged-out interview ever.” A bearded, incoherent Phoenix mumbles his way through Letterman’s questions, at one point taking his chewing gum from his mouth and sticking it to his hosts desk.
- The show also features the latest Sports Illustrated cover model, Bar Rafaeli.
