First of all I want to credit my source...................Sunday times.
ANC president Jacob Zuma is set to announce a radical shake-up of cabinet after he is sworn in as president on May 9. All the big guns in the ANC camp are holding their breaths on who is going to be placed where.
Finance minister Trevor Manuel is set to be appointed for the new position which is the Head of the Planning Commission, a powerful new structure which is going to monitor government performance. Mr Zuma is doing the hush hush talk with Cyril Ramaphosa for the big hot seat Minister of Finance, though he doesn't seem to like the idea....................we all know that he was the sponsor for COPE campaigns.
Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is expected to take over from Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula at the Department of Home Affairs.................I want my aunt with those naija's, or else back at Health Department.
Dlamini-Zuma’s exit from foreign affairs is set to lead to an intriguing contest for that post. Names being touted include Radebe and housing minister Lindiwe Sisulu. ....................Oh Please give it to Hadebe, he looks very yummy in his new hairstyle ( chiskop) that's what we want to see when watching the news.
Outgoing president Kgalema Motlanthe was thought to be in the running, but the party wants him as a second deputy president alongside Baleka Mbete. .....Zuma, how many Deputy you need kanene, that's why I suppoerted Hellen Zille's STOP ZUMA CAMPAIGN.But ke angimuzwa kahle lo Baleka Mbete or maybe ileya PERM esekhanda lakhe ( no offence here)
This one was a killer, that is why I decided to write and share this with you guys........
SA Communist Party general secretary Blade Nzimande’s name is being bandied about as a potential education minister, to work with either Naledi Pandor or Gauteng eduction MEC Angie Motshekga. The Department of Education is going to be split into two ministries, one focusing on higher education and the other on primary and secondary schooling...........Isn't this a joke, bathong ngathi sengimbona u Blade e serious kumabonakude wami, ebusy nge OBE nezincwadi ezingafikanga nge sikhathi ezikoleni zasemaphandleni.
However, Nzimande is thought to want the public enterprises ministry, while Fikile Mbalula, who headed the ANC’s election campaign, is being tipped to serve as minister in the presidency. ............Angisazi ke mina, where is Zwelinzima Vavi?
While Radebe is certain to be given a more senior cabinet post, the transport portfolio is likely to be given to KwaZulu- Natal provincial premier S’bu Ndebele. A former Mbeki ally, he has since made amends with Zuma, and shone as a transport MEC before becoming premier...............No suprises here, we know the good job you did as KZN Transport Minister.
The landscape in Gauteng is also set to change; it has been established that premier Paul Mashatile will move to national government, and there is strong speculation that Mashatile may end up as deputy finance minister, and Nomvula Mokonyane will be the Premier.
In the Eastern Cape, the fight for the premiership appears to centre around the incumbent, Mbulelo Sogoni, and SA Communist Party treasurer Phumulo Masualle. The latter is the province’s finance, economic development and environmental affairs MEC .
Elsewhere, Ednah Molewa is likely to retain the North West premiership, while Ace Magashule is tipped to finally take over in the Free State after being overlooked twice by Mbeki despite his popularity in that province.
Zuma’s right-hand man, KwaZulu-Natal finance MEC Zweli Mkhize, looks set to take over from Ndebele.
Those who will remain in their present positions include Charles Nqakula (defence), Enver Surty (justice), Nathi Mthethwa (safety and security), Barbara Hogan (health), Sicelo Shiceka (provincial and local government) and labour minister Membathisi Mdladlana.
Some of those who will not be returning include public enterprises Brigitte Mabandla, who has stumbled from one controversy to the next during her unimpressive tenure.............makhulu isikhathi sokubheka abazukulu.
Others who will fail to make the grade are Ngconde Balfour (correctional services) right there, he better be an actor( sgudi'snaysi) , Lulu Xingwana (land affairs), Mapisa- Nqakula and Manto Tshabalala- Msimang ( need I say more?
I don't see Zwelinzima Vavi being mentioned here, we all know how he mobilised the working force in support for Zuma. It was clear that something big was promised to him by somebody..............sibhekile
