Soccer Anytime, Anywhere, No Sweat!

Okay, so a few weeks ago, Shield For Men Sportsfan (don't ask me, andazi) launched a new "concept" called "Soccer Anytime, Anywhere, No Sweat" as a way to cash in on the 2010/Confed Cup soccer fever. Well, that's my version, SHIELD says it's to reinforce their passion in the game heheh.

So Sphiwe Tshabalala and Teko Modise ( I decided to write Sphiwe's name first shem) have been signed up as Brand Ambassadors for this concept and I guess it's because they are two of the hottest, if not the two hottest players in Mzansi soccer right now.
(*NB: Hot refers to their skills, not other things)

You're still confused? Okay lemme put it this way:

WHAT:
Viewers stand a chance to Play with Simphiwe and Teko (remember, Sphiwe first) in the R400 000 Shield “No Sweat Golden Goal” challenge.

I'm not sure of the format but if Tshepo Mabona and Walter Mokoena can play (pic below), so can you.

WHICH VIEWERS:
Well, the show's coming to ETV in JUNE even though the tournament's starting this month.
It's going to be a 13 episodes series on a yet to be confirmed weekly time slot.

HOW:
Get an entry from from SHOPRITE, fill in your details and write your barcode number of your "Shield" (obviously) on the entry form and drop it into the entry box available at the store.

(Mina back in my school days when I was into competitions, instead of buying the products, I would go to the shop, find the product, right down the barcode on my entry form, put the product back on the shelf, go mail the form or put it in the box. Maybe that's why I never won anything)

Okay, I understand that whole "Shield" confidence thing but why are these boys so serious in this poster?

Couldn't the people who were directing the shoot make the "picture" look cuter?

Hayi, if Shield makes people look this mad/angry/scary/bodyguard-like then I ain't buying it for my ....umm....brothers!

Awu my boy Teko is doing things,make that money mfowethu!Now if only the prowess he displays while playing for Pirates would translate to Bafana2.

better yet, Onkez there's nothing that would make me happy than to see McModise playing against (or with) the likes of Christiano Ronaldo and John Terry...brother man be good...

hahahha BS, maybe that is why coz they realised your barcode was the same as somebody else(the real buyer of the product).

Haiye kodwa Simphiwe is handsome bathong, sorry Teko i understand the hype around you but coming to looks Simphiwe is hotter.

I'm grateful for the things Teko is doing for Pirates and all but i have sat down and cocluded that no amount of makeover will make him look .... "better" . i dont like him ebile, his arrogance turns me off completely. Simphiwe is not hot le enna but he is shebable (lookable).

Dont use shield, and will not do any of your tactics BS, lol, good luck peeps , those who are gonna enter.

What do you mean BS? Tshepo grew up playing soccer...because of some injury, he never realised his dream of playing proffessional football. Apparently Walter once signed for Cape Town Spurs....he was also a soccer player.

This shield concept is nothing new - they most probably stole it from Underground Soccer (UGS), which has been going for years - UGS keep it real.
These guys hav nothing on you.

UGS is an experience of a lifetime - 4 true soccer fans
