The daughter of Mexican-American parents, Eva Longoria was raised poor on a farm in Texas and originally aspired to be a model. Along the way she landed a few small acting parts before her breakout role on the soapie The Young & the Restless.
From there, she was cast in Desperate Housewives, and the rest is history, including her marraige to longtime boyfriend, NBA star Tony Parker.
