Keeping it clean.

we have all heard the saying 'Cleaniless is next to Godliness' but have you ever wondered why cleaniless is encouraged so much? okay we have all been taught from a very young age that you have to keep clean to keep healthy or avoid illness right.

it seems however cleaniless is not a priority for some people or rather, dirt does not really bother them even in the midst of the pig swine flu.

I am not saying we should have obsessed disorders about cleaniless, in fact being overly clean is also discourgaed, the immune system needs a certain amount of bacteria to functions properly and be able to fight off disease.

with that in mind, i looked the word hygiene and this is what wikipedia says Hygiene, refers to the set of practices associated with the preservation of health and healthy living. Hygiene is a concept related to medicine, as well as to personal and professional care practices related to most aspects of living, although it is most often associated with cleanliness and preventative measures. In medicine, hygiene practices are employed to reduce the incidence and spreading of disease

there are of course many things that need to be  employed to keep clean such as


BATHING or SHOWERING



Well there people who can go through a day without a bath and then get away with it, but if you miss it for long enough soon you will start to smell. take a moment to wash up even if u have to do it in a basin but as long as you do it.

BRUSHING YOUR TEETH


well this one  should also be done or else ke mathata, there are poeple you are even afraid to talk to others because of thier badbreath, come  now people i mean if you are too lazy to take a bath surely a few minutes of brushing wont hurt, bad breath is a huge turn off. 

WASHING YOUR HANDS
we know our hands touch a lot hence it is encouraged that we wash frequently. at times i hate shaking hands simply because  i do not know where the hand was before it toched me. my high school teacher use to say she will never share a meal with a man because she does have to hold anything when she goes to the loo.

SHAVING BODY HAIR
not only does shaving body hair keeps clean but it also make body parts look oh so natural and admirable *wink wink*. but its all a personal choice but underarms hair has to go.
hair on your head also needs to washed be to avoid lice and this includes weaves and bondings.

CLEANING YOUR SURROUNDING
this includes your home and office, there are some homes where i am sure i will reject if they offfer me something to eat, they are just dirty with dishes always in the sink, dirty dishwashing cloths, foodmarks on the fridge ... how do they live in those homes? offices must the dirties, depending on the office you are placed @ of course. some tables are just downright filthy. some say they wont keep them clean because is not thier homes but they spend more time in them than anywhere else and you cant depend on the cleaning who only comes once a month.

ever thought about the amount of germs on your handbag, doorhandles,keyrings?

how hygienic are you and how hygienic should one really be?



i still have to learn to clean wearing gloves, they make cleaning so difficult.

I am clean nje but not that bad.

I jik my dishcloths once a week, I wash my hands frequently and I am forever wiping my fridge and cupboard handles. and my stove is forever wiped down.

Otherwise I am normally clean

bad breath isn't necessarily caused by a lack of clean teeth.in fact i know alot of people with bad breath who brush their teeth each time after a meal.

tjo i wish my cousin could be the one reading this, bcs she is not one of the cleanest people i know and her house too is disgusting. the worse part is she lives with her husband and baby boy, the boy has sores in his head (i think due to poor hygiene) and when she goes to visit her family the husband always cleans the house i mean spring clean (turns it upsidedown) can u imagine that,shoo

my mom always says "hai nathi siyagala, we shudn't be eating anything from that house, phela kunqolile lapha!" and since its starting to be hotter these days, she is in Big trouble

My x is naturally dirty he don’t differ from a pig. He once wipe his sperms with my curtains. ke mpya so sele.

I am particular about cleaniness, I am so used to an immaculate living space when the brats were around, I couldn handle their smell and lack of cleaniness they eventually left - with thanks to some good pointers THANKS, but yah I make sure I can see my reflection in the floors, jik my dish cloths daily, stove kept white, fridge cleaned everyday, counters dust free....etc...so bad when pple visit i ask them to remove their shoes

you are right Kele, it can actually be an absuss in the ear canal but not brushing at all also causes bad breath. @lady gaga those are the kind of people i make excuses not to visit, the other day i saw this very young couple with thier babies feeding on very dirty bottles they dirt was almost black and i wondered how clean the milk was? may be it was fresh milk not baby formula.

@ Ms. Jay, o reng hantle-ntle, o worse man, u ask visitors to take off their shoes. Ee, then they wouldnt dare to visit. O tjhobolo.

 Nna i just make sure that i leave my house with a full stomach, since I can't eat/drink when I clealy see bo Mr. Brown (cockroaches), flies and dirt all over da place. I'm very choose of where I put my bom (Loo).

There is relative we normally visit once in a while and we normally buy takeaways in town, eat, go to the loos and then go to their house, its so dirty u'll be scared to sit on their sofas. Ha ke batle le tee ya bone.

AFTER WATCHIN AN EPISODE ON OPRAH I AM CRAZY ABOUT KEEPIN MY HANDS CLEAN AT ALL TIMES. THIS WOMAN WHO WAS A CHEF LOST HER WHOLE LEFT ARM AND FOREARM AND PART OF HER SHOULDER ALL DUE TO SOME BACTERIA AND YENA SHE WAS WASHING HER HANDS, IMAGINE IF YOU JUST DDNT AT ALL.TJO ITS SCARY GUYS
