Thursday 1 October 2009Episode 584 While David desperately tries to think of strategies to contain the damage caused by the revelation that the girls of his new super-group signing, Driehoek, can't actually sing, Miles crows.
Elmarie realises she was taken for a fool by Gail and confronts her. Onica reveals to Tshidi that King is a selfish exploiter and manipulator. Suffocate decides to take on the Hot Plate champion.
Friday 2 October 2009Episode 585 David continues to bear the brunt of Miles' revenge when he finds out Zondi's sponsors have withdrawn their support for Driehoek. Furious, he threatens the distributor.
In retaliation, Zondi arranges that his business partner - gangsta Ivan Tshinawa - visit David. Tshidi slips deeper into addiction, stealing first from Stone, and then from King.
Monday 5 October 2009Episode 586 Tshidi and Onica, after stealing King's drugs, are forced to take refuge in dangerous Hillbrow. No-one seems to know Tshidi's whereabouts, and the Khuses are worried sick.
David finally finds out the whole ugly truth about his recently purchased band and that he now has to part with a million bucks. He lashes out viciously, cutting Miles to the bone with the news of Lu's pregnancy.
Tuesday 6 October 2009Episode 587 Miles, still reeling from the news that Lu is pregnant with David's child, confronts her. David is still apoplectic about Miles' trick with Driehoek, and swears revenge.
It's the day of the big boxing match, and despite Fats' pleas, Suffocate takes to the canvas. Tshidi's situation in the Hillbrow drug den becomes more perilous.
Wednesday 7 October 2009Episode 588 S'bu is contacted by Naomi, a journalist. She reveals the person who allegedly robbed teenage gospel star Joy Cele of her virginity was none other than Spiro, aka Bongani. Tshidi and Onica decide to sell some of King's drugs so they can buy food.
Thursday 8 October 2009Episode 589 Mamokete and Stone lie to Kop about Tshidi, while Stone blames himself for her disappearance. S'bu is unimpressed when Gail and Naomi, to whom he is attracted, hit it off. Tshidi and Onica find themselves in an unnerving situation at the Hillbrow flat. The Hot Plate guys tend bar at The Kilowatt in barmaids' outfits.
Friday 9 October 2009Episode 590 Tshidi is distraught when her final chance to escape is frustrated - with even greater danger in wait. S'bu's flirtation with Naomi continues.
Stone confronts King about Tshidi's whereabouts, and King presents him with a business offer. Miles decides that he has to finally let go of Lu forever.
Monday 12 October 2009Episode 591 Thula seeks help from Suffocate about Tshidi. Stone arranges a meeting with King. S'bu pursues Naomi with the proposition of her working at Hustle as head of A&R. Astonishingly, it turns out she and Miles have worked together in the past.
Lu glows in the wake of Miles' warm words. Wandi encourages her to give him another chance. Tshidi and Onica wake up to a nasty surprise...
Tuesday 13 October 2009Episode 592 Naomi has an idea for signing hot Joy to Hustle. The prospect is so exciting she finds herself talking her way into the job she had previously rejected.
Meanwhile, Joy and her father, Theodore, are about to be interviewed by Wandi at 9-Nine fm. Fats and Stone conspire to convince Kop and Mamokete that Tshidi is on tour with Sunay. Tshidi and Onica sell their last remaining valuables to obtain money to buy more drugs.
Wednesday 14 October 2009Episode 593 Naomi lets S'bu down gently, much to Gail's amusement. She then embarks on her strategy of getting the intractable Theo Cele to sign his gospel-sensation daughter to Hustle.
Stone decides to look for his sister. Tshidi and Onica have run out of drugs and are contemplating increasingly desperate measures to get more.
Thursday 15 October 2009Episode 594 Stone, Suffocate, and Thula continue their desperate search for Tshidi. King gets Stone to hand over his car in exchange for information on Tshidi's whereabouts.
Theo agrees to sign his daughter to Hustle if they can get Spiro to retract his slanderous statements. S'bu investigates, and finds nothing is what it seems with Joy ...
Friday 16 October 2009Episode 595 Spiro releases further info about his alleged taped sex session with Joy, this after S'bu's approach that he retract his initial statement implicating the star.
Keke wants Wandi to act as spokesperson for the upcoming Girl Pride event, but the DJ vehemently rejects the idea. Gail's brother arrives unexpectedly from the Cape. Onica and Tshidi collapse from consuming tainted drugs.
Monday 19 October 2009Episode 596Tshidi reaches out to Stone - but will it be too late by the time he gets to her? Lorenzo is already proving a nuisance while the Hustlers focus on solving the problem of Joy and Spiro's sex tape.
Gail makes an interesting discovery about Joy. Ronald identifies the Girl Pride issue as a possible source of problems for Wandi.
Tuesday 20 October 2009Episode 597 Disoriented Tshidi is going through severe drugs withdrawal in hospital. Stone and his guys scramble to keep her addiction a secret from Mamokete and Kop.
Spiro threatens to make the sex tape public while outraged Theo desperately clings to the image of a virginal daughter. David begins putting a plan in place to take full advantage of Hustle's crisis, all to even the scorecard with Miles.
Wednesday 21 October 2009Episode 598 News of the mysterious Jacob has Mamokete unnerved. The sight of Tshidi's painful withdrawal from drugs tears Thula's heart apart although he adopts a tough-love approach. The battle between Redemption and Hustle to sign the teen gospel sensation, Joy Cele, continues.
Thursday 22 October 2009Episode 599Keke's guest appearance on 9-Nine fm leads to Wandi's sexuality being openly discussed on air. The DJ freaks out. David promises Theo he can make Spiro's sex video disappear - if Joy joins Redemption.
Mamokete feels guilty that she went to visit Jacob and that she hasn't told Kop. Tshidi, released from hospital, comes home. S'bu takes it upon himself to show Jozi's nightlife to Lorenzo.
Friday 23 October 2009Episode 600 Wandi eventually admits on air that she's gay but her relations with Keke reach an all-time low. David offers Spiro R1-million for the sex tape. Sis Bee tells Mamokete that the mysterious Jacob is suffering from kidney failure and will die if he doesn't find a donor.
When Mamokete visits Jacob again he says he wants to right the wrongs of the past. A newly confident Lorenzo starts dressing like S'bu.
Monday 26 October 2009Episode 601 Naomi thinks of a way to outsmart Spiro. Wandi finds herself besieged by callers wanting to discuss her sexuality. One of them is venomous. Tshidi decides to come clean with her parents. Mamokete tells a shocked Kop that a gravely ill Jacob is in town. S'bu coaches Lorenzo on the subtleties of pulling chicks.
Tuesday 27 October 2009Episode 602 Mamokete is torn when Kop orders her never to see Jacob again. Things go awry for Bongani when he tries to sell the video of Joy to David Genaro. S'bu is at his wits' end with Lorenzo shadowing him the whole day.
Lu refuses to let Wandi bow to the pressure of negative publicity. Tshidi misunderstands the reasons for the tension in the Khuse house.
Wednesday 28 October 2009Episode 603 S'bu talks Suffocate into giving Lorenzo work at the Kilowatt Club. We learn something surprising about Jacob's relationship with Kop. Wandi's hate-calls increase. The Hustlers are still scrambling to try sign Joy to their label, and Naomi tries to further prove her worth.
Thursday 29 October 2009Episode 604 Wandi is still shaken by the phone calls from Anonymous. Lu encourages her to return to work and face her demons, whereas David intends exploiting the situation.
Naomi comes into possession of some damning evidence against Theo. Kop's issues with his brother reveal more about Kop and Mamokete's past - and a possible secret. Lorenzo tries to emulate his new hero, S'bu, with his efforts yielding some unexpected results.
Friday 30 October 2009Episode 605 Mamokete and a reluctant Kop gear up to meet Jacob in hospital. After another call from the homophobic Anonymous is put through, Wandi confronts David on 9-Nine's call-screening system.
In the euphoria of signing Joy, Miles and Naomi begin to plan the singer's launch. Miles persuades Naomi to bring her husband to the event. Lorenzo takes his new persona to the extreme.
