Tonight's third episode of SA's Got Talent covers more performances from Jozi, Durbs and Cape Town and features people ranging from six to 58 i.e.a our own Susan Boyle - literally.

A 58-year old opera singer was so inspired by Susan Boyle's singing that she decided to enter the show to follow in her footsteps. Hopefully she's not as nuts! (and wears different eyebrows)

There's also a soccer-playing-stripper who goes by the name of Crystal ‘The Double Adapter’, a fruit-seller-turned-poet, a 6-year-old drummer, classical Indian and ballroom dancers and potentially horrific acts called The Dahlings, Devils Angels of Dance and Bokkie.

In Jozi, there's a beatboxer who causes chaos with the audience and makes Shado blush and a five piece dance act called Show Stopaz, who stop the show they're so good apparently.

This week it's Shado who turns into tears - an11-year-old called Hannah Reynolds finishes her off with a performance of Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray.

In Durban, there's a group called Ubumbano, whose lead singer's a full-time security guard; and a one-man clown act Clifton Connolly, who goofs the audience.

In Cape Town a lovelorn dumpee called Louis van der Merwe sings a duet with his brother to win his girlfriend back. For himself, not for his brother .. although whenever brothers get involved with one girl it always means he wants her too.

There's also another Michael Jackson routine. This time from a guy/girl called Jody, who wears a plastic-bag wig.

SA's Got Talent is on SABC2 on Thursdays at 19h30.

I loved the show stopaz, Mr Beatbox...for some reason I just don't enjoy acts by kids...

Chris Njokwana (the soccer freestyling dude) is already on tv moss and he is the SA champ-ubroke maybe? I don't get why he feels he needs to be on the show.
Why did they allow MJ to go to the next round?

Cody
16 Oct 2009 10:59

The recycled Michael Jackson yena hai no guys, he even said he didnt think he will make it....because he knows that he is doing twak...nxa!  if he made it throught that mlungu guy who grew up in the priests house should have gone through, i thought he was quite good......(or maybe i dont know opera)

that guy from ekasi, vereeniniging sang Ave Maria so nicely.....

Cody No Those tears were not genuine ...  think she sat there and though, im the only woman here im supposed to be all emotional, Ian beat me to itlast week so this week i must excel...

Even on that first song Monchooza i thinkk she faked it, you know when those guys started she wasnt paying that much attention, until she lookes on Ian's side and saw Ian concentrating on them, then she started raising here hand, with smile on her face .. im thinking she thought the smile thing is not cutting it, so she put here hands on that mouth/nose area then she though about something emotional and started weeping and she didnt wanna wipe those tears so we can all see and she never stopped there she even said 'you see you made me cry' and her voice didnt have a zilch of emotional what what in it ...

On the other hand Ian couldnt talk the other day because he was still emotional ...LOL

Actually, the items are all mixed up. They have just put the first 3 shows together randomly - you only need to look at the presenters outfits to see that. I also know for a FACT that the 11 year old Hannah was the first one to bring any of the judges to tears. It was before Ian cried over the 8 year old and before she cried over the choir! Those acts performed after the Hannah Reynolds

Cody
16 Oct 2009 13:29

so she put here hands on that mouth/nose area then she though about something emotional and started weeping

LMAO!!!!!  hai i give up on you BA......i must say that song that was sang by that child, was not something to cry about..

Sho guys did you see that child singing like an adult, with knee high boots and a skimpy short...lol,hai noo maan, whoever taught that child that song and routine must be taken to jail. how on earth can you teach a child that routine with seduction moves..bathong?

there was this other child that looked like ipopaye (she was acting or something)...., gosh i have never been so amused and embarrased at the same time , the aunt claimed she had a sore throat..then they asked her she the child said she doesnt have...LMAO!!!!ya neh kids can really embarass you sometimes.

lady Bbs .. follow the last link that Toxic gave us, it will take you through to Shado's page with her favourite video clips so far and those people whom she faked tears for are not there .... she also realized that she wasnt moved, so she left them out ...now im just wondering why you are fighting so much for that child becaseeven Shado took her tears back and didnt out that child on her favourites ..

Ian did put the child that made him cry

@ BA uyandigqiba ke sana, u killing me. I really dont get uShado, it is so unnecessary mors yhu to actually fake tears for TV, she shud just b herself and we will all luv her, so what if she is not an emotional wreck lyk other people we will still feel her if she is feelable. Ja I must say...Thursdays r looking gr8 these dayz...

Great show maabane as always.

I have a complaint! Why didn't SABC show this show on mzansi fo sho? I'm saying this because of the touture i had to endure when that rapport ad was played in all the ad breaks. If i see that ad again i will hang my self with a toilet paper!!
