Monday 2 November 2009Episode 1037 Agnes swallows her pride and reconciles with Phyllis. Vho-Mukondeleli wants to know what the chief is going to do for the people with him having prevented them from selling their shares.
Thandaza confronts an evasive Peter, who reveals he has done no work on the case - Thandaza tells him to keep it that way. Azwindini tells Agnes she has to make that public apology today.
Mpho lets KK know that he's here to stay but won't tell KK what his terms are. Thandaza re-employs Kukie and Tshepo makes an important phonecall.
Agnes gets advice from Awindini. Azwindini is angry that Mulalo didn't do something to keep Humbulani in the shop when he saw her and comments on Mulalo's status in life.
Kukie is working hell for leather on her case, and won't spare a smile for Nomusa. Agnes admits that her heart is strangely heavy. James comes to wish Thandaza good luck for the next day.
Agnes realizes that it's over a year since her mother passed. Tshepo suggests A "Kgaola Thapo" ceremony and tells her to leave it in his hands.
Tuesday 3 November 2009Episode 1038 Meiki confronts Mmbangiseni about his absence. Miriam and Tshepo argue over Tshepo going to court. Lufuno returns and tells Vho-Masindi she went for an interview for a job in Polokwane.
Vho-Masindi asks Azwindini to give Lufuno a job in Thathe and he in turn asks to know what role Mulimisi plays in Lufuno's life. Kukie falls apart as she delivers her opening argument.
Azwindini calls KK. KK convinces Azwindini that the mill closure is temporary and that people will get paid. Mpho tells Mampho to give him space to do his thing and Mampho tells Meiki to stop being self absorbed and that she should support her parents.
Nomusa presents her case with dexterity as Kukie is blinded with jealousy. Azwindini demands to know what Mulimisi's intentions are with Lufuno. Thandaza tells Tshepo that their hands are tied for the moment.
A defeated Kukie witnesses KK and Nomusa's victory parade and it's just too much for her.
Wednesday 4 November 2009Episode 1039 There is concern over Kukie's performance in court and over the lack of progress at the mill. James commiserates with Thandaza over her loss in court and is surprised to find her in a good mood.
The Mokoena's arrive in Thathe out of the blue and want to talk about how the Mukwevho's are going to honour Catherine's memory. Vho-Mukondeleli tells Vho-Sara that she saw Mbangiseni in town. Mbangiseni gets a scolding from his mother for not visiting her in Venda. Meiki is not impressed with him either.
KK puts pressure on James to deliver a strategy document for the Tshedza relaunch. Agnes apologises for the Mokoena's sudden appearance in Thathe. Mampho explains that because Catherine wasn't buried they cannot do the Kgaola Thapo ceremony.
Kukie apologizes for losing the case but Thandaza doesn't seem to care about it. KK is unimpressed with JAMES's work. Mampho tells Tshepo that he needs to start taking it easy.
Tshepo hears what she's saying. James is furious with KK and wants to resign but Thandaza persuades him to stay for her sake. The Mukwevhos take offence when Mampho accuses them of not honouring Catherine's memory.
Thursday 05 November 2009Episode 1040 Agnes wants to honour her mother and Vho-Masindi blames her for starting trouble. KK and Kukie are starting to drift apart. Thandaza returns the HR documents and bumps into Kukie.
Vho-Masindi thinks the Mokoena's are responsible for Catherine, and Agnes refuses to allow Lufuno anywhere near the chieftaincy. A seemingly defeated Thandaza hands over the HR documents to KK.
Kukie senses that her relationship might be over but Phyllis thinks otherwise. Barry is losing patience with KK, and they and Thabisile consider Ceo's for Tshedza Milling - including Doobsie.
Azwindini offers his unwavering support to Thandaza's continuous battles against Tshedza. Thandaza informs him about Kukie and KK's affair and Thandaza defends Kukie - she believes in Kukie's integrity.
KK welcomes James to the team. Mpho offers to help Azwindini with finding building contractors. Nomusa and KK are getting much closer. Agnes tells the family that her mother wanted to be buried by her husband and son and Vho-Masindi's resentment builds.
Monday 9 November 2009Episode 1041 Meiki is in the deep end taking calls from franchisees and suppliers. James confronts KK about a newspaper story linking Doobsie to Tshedza Milling.
Nomusa rubs in Kukie's court misadventure and tells her about the opera night with KK. Azwindini feels that he's been pressured into making a decision about Catherine's burial, and Agnes is worried about the speculation over Tshedza's new CEO.
Mampho offers unwelcome advice to Miriam but is interrupted by Mpho. Vho-Masindi is angry that Azwindini is listening to Agnes and refusing to give Lufuno a job in the chieftaincy.
Tshepo is yet to hear from the Mukwevho's about the decision on Catherine's burial and Thabo settles his debt to the family.
Meiki quits Etwatwa but Mmbangiseni easily woes her back. Kukie has decided to end her relationship with KK.
Thandaza reminds James about the plan she has to win MM back. Miriam admits that she's been stubborn and controlling and she and Tshepo make peace.
KK is devastated over the break up with Kukie, and his world falls apart...
Tuesday 10 November 2009Episode 1042 Thandaza delivers the Journalist to the Press conference. An upbeat Tshepo enlists Meiki's help on an undisclosed mission.
At his own press conference, a sad KK is heckled by the Journalist, who wants to know whether Thandaza is under consideration. Vho-Masindi demands that Agnes make a place for Lufuno and Borosi supports her. Thandaza asks Miriam whether she can trust the mysterious Mpho, and Miriam assures her that she can.
Lufuno gets the job offer. Vho-Masindi is not happy and blames Agnes for driving her daughter away. Thandaza and Mpho size each other up, and Thandaza takes the plunge and asks for his support. Tshepo surprises Miriam with plane tickets for a trip.
Mushasha advises Azwindini about a ritual called U Vhumbela. Vho-mukondeleli thinks that Agnes has beaten the fight out of Lufuno but Lufuno has changed her priorities Mpho storms KK's office, he tells him to appoint thandaza, and shares a moment with Thabisile.
Wednesday 11 November 2009Episode 1043 KK tries to win Kukie back, but she refuses him. Agnes is concerned over Tshepo leaving but he puts her mind at ease by telling her that Mampho has everything under control.
Tshepo and Miriam happily prepare for their trip. James tells KK that rumours of Thandaza's return has the share price climbing. KK is not impressed.
Susan and Pfuluwani try convincing Lufuno to volunteer at the clinic to appease Vho-Masindi, but she doesn't bite.
KK and Barry meet over the issue of Thandaza becoming CEO, and KK resolves to find out what she's up to. Meiki convinces Mmbangiseni to placate Humbulani in court, but Tshepo finds out about their relationship in the process.
Lufuno and Vho-masindi have it out when Vho-masindi tries to keep Lufuno in Thathe. Kukie breaks down and mourns the loss of her relationship with KK.
Tshepo has it out with Meiki over her relationship with Mmbangiseni. And Miriam tells Meiki to end. Tshepo is angry over the situation with Meiki and Mmbangiseni, and Miriam suggests that everyone deserves a chance to redeem themselves.
Lufuno says goodbye to her brother although he's still not happy about the arrangement with Mulimisi.Tshepo finally learns Miriam and Thabo's secret, and rushes out into the night.
Thursday 12 November 2009Episode 1044 Mmbangiseni shows his softer side towards Meiki. Gizara arrives to accompany his son to court. Miriam is beside herself because Tshepo has not come home, and she has to try and explain his absence to Mampho.
Susan and Pfuluwani are surprised when Azwindini tells them that he is going to miss Lufuno. Azwindini and the elders agree that they need to resolve the marriage issue between Mmbangiseni and Humbulani ASAP.
Mmbangiseni is thrilled because Humbulani didn't show up for court. KK is under pressure because of the closure of the Venda mill and because everyone wants him to reappoint Thandaza. But just when he's had enough, he gets an idea.
Meiki is furious when she hears from Peter that Humbulani never showed up in court. Peter tries to get hold of Humbulani. Azwindini asks Peter for Humbulani's contact details.
Susan tells Azwindini that Vho-Sara feels that neither Humbulani or Mmbangiseni can provide a secure environment for Dakalo.
Thandaza discusses possible strategies with Mpho and receives a call from KK. Vho-Masindi and Agnes finally lose it with each other. Azwindini walks in and seems to take his mother's side.
Miriam is very upset about Tshepo but she doesn't tell Meiki what's really going on.KK offers Thandaza the CEO position at Tshedza, and Thandaza accepts.
Monday 16 November 2009Episode 1045 Azwindini and Gizara talk to Mmbangiseni about his marriage to Humbulani and his relationship with Meiki but Mmbangiseni doesn't want the family meddling in his affairs.
KK shares his new strategy with Thabisile. An emotionally wrecked Miriam fights with Thabo. She comes to the conclusion that she has to resolve the situation alone.
Azwindini tries to mediate between Agnes and Vho-Masindi. Thandaza shares her news about infiltrating Tshedza with Mankosi, and Mankosi shares her wisdom with Thandaza.
Agnes finds a legal letter in her mother's box. There's still no sign of Tshepo. Miriam is doing some soul-searching and Meiki commiserates. Vho-Masindi remains bitter, Agnes is obstinate and Azwindini's mediation fails.
KK gives Thandaza a contract to look over. KK might have an ace up his sleeve, but remains mysterious about it. Agnes is miserable and Pfuluwani advises her to make peace with Vho-Masindi.
Azwindini sets up a meeting with Humbulani.Meiki has it out with Mmbangiseni, she kicks him out of her flat and quits Etwatwa.
Tuesday 17 November 2009Episode 1046 The Mukwevho family discuss U Vhumbela ritual for Catherine but Vho-masindi insists on a Sesotho ritual instead. Mmbangiseni freaks out because he can't reach Meiki.
Miriam is still nervous and Meiki admits to her mother that things with Mmbangi are really bad. Azwindini feels better after talking to Humbulani but doesn't yet know what he'll do.
Kukie gives the contract for Thandaza her approval and Thandaza makes a call to the chief. Thandaza discusses the news of her appointment with Azwindini, but she's cautious about any unrealistic expectations.
Peter is pleased when Humbulani instructs him to escalate the war against Mmbangiseni. Azwindini tells Mulalo to be creative about running this business and Gizara and Vho-sara argue over Mmbangiseni's shameful ways.
Tshepo is still gone and Miriam and Thabo are still keeping the truth away from Mampho. Agnes decides to contact the lawyers to find out about the trust, which is in her name.
Barry confronts KK over his appointment of Thandaza to the CEO post, and KK reveals the full extent of his conniving tactics.
Wednesday 18 November 2009Episode 1047 Azwindini appeals to Vho-masindi's sense of tradition and she begrudgingly concedes. Thandaza and KK sign on the dotted line, as they feel each other out, and KK asks after Kukie.
Peter tells Mmbangiseni that Humbulani is taking him to court on several other issues divorce and custody. Agnes apologizes to Vho-Masindi but Vho-masindi doesn't believe that she is sincere.
James welcomes Thandaza back, but warns her that KK is a mighty adversary. Susan and Pfuluwani start planning for the u vhumbela ritual and Pfuluwani worries about Vho-Masindi.
Mmbangiseni tells his father about the divorce and Gizara wants the truth about Mmbangiseni and Humbulani if he is going to support his son. Borosi starts to see Vho-Masindi's point about Agnes' power and Azwindini and Borosi agree that they must persuade Mmbangiseni to divorce Humbulani quietly.
Gizara is not happy that the family is backing Humbulani's divorce and Mmbangiseni is sleeping at the shop.
The Bakoena arrive, Mampho is in a no-nonsense mood and Mpho wants Azwindini to accept his offer, to help build Vho-Masindi's house.
KK has other plans for the press conference and writes his own speech for Thandaza to deliver. Agnes finds out that Catherine put part of her estate in a trust for Agnes and that she is coming into a lot of money.
Thursday 19 November 2009Episode 1048 Thandaza is horrified as she reads the speech KK intends her to read at the press conference. Mmbangiseni complains about the amount of money his lawyer wants and when Gizara recommends they deal with this culturally, they fall out.
Azwindini explains the U Vhumbela and Mampho asks if they can include a Sotho ritual. Mampho believes that the ritual will bring unity.
Agnes can't reach Tshepo and decides to call Miriam. Miriam doesn't tell Agnes about Tshepo's disappearance, but commits to finding him with a steely resolve.
Thandaza confronts KK over the speech she has to make and is forced to go with it or hit the road. Azwindini vows to back up Humbulani should Mmbangiseni contest their divorce.
Thandaza defies KK's instruction and preaches reconciliation at the press conference. Mmbangiseni learns that Dineo comes from a wealthy family and an evil plan starts to form.
Thandaza receives peculiar news from Pheko and expresses hope for her future with Tshedza. James remains sceptical.
KK confronts Pearl about leaking the speech to Thandaza and raises his severe disapproval.
Thandaza offers comfort to a distraught Miriam who finally gets word from Tshepo. But it's not what she wants to hear.
Monday 23 November 2009Episode 1049 Miriam decides to face up to her past and fight for the man she loves. MMbangiseni tells Peter that he won't contest the divorce if Humbulani gives him Etwatwa.
KK finds Thandaza very frustrating but cannot help admiring her principles. Azwindini has managed to free up money from some of their investments, but Agnes is still concerned about their cashflow.
Vho-Sara tells Mulalo that a serious Mukwevho man would not be hanging out in a coffee shop.Gizara is determined to support Mmbangiseni even though Vho-Sara is against the idea.
Thabisile is concerned about Thandaza's behaviour but KK's respect for Thandaza seems to be growing. The preparations for Catherine's U Vhumbela are going ahead. Mampho bids farewell to Azwindini.
Mmbangiseni asks for money from his mother. Dineo is not impressed when Meiki stops by and admits that she just can't stay away from her man. Vho-Masindi is chuffed when Azwindini tells her that he's building her a house.
Mpho is fascinated with Thabisile. Vhangani wakes Mushasha up with the news that a young child from the village has gone missing.
Tuesday 24 November 2009Episode 1050 Dineo is angry about Mbangiseni's sudden unwelcome attention towards her. She doesn't trust him.
Mushaha comes back to the house and a worried Vho-Mukondelei. He does not have good feelings about the missing boy. Mpho and Thabisile begin their courtship - watched by a curious Pearl and Thandaza.
Azwindini hopes that the union meeting doesn't turn millitant - nobody can afford another crisis. He and Agnes hear the first news of the missing child. Thandaza picks Mpho's brains for her new team and realises that he, in fact might make the perfect CEO.
Mmbangiseni asks Dineo for a loan so that he can pay his lawyer to contest the divorce and Meiki gets the wrong idea when she sees them together.
Azwindini wants Thandaza at U Vhumbela. Thandaza can't make the union meeting but she doesn't reveal too much about what she's up to. Mmbangiseni admits that he misses Meiki and needs her help with Etwatwa.
Meiki melts and offers to help him fight Humbulani's court case. Miriam returns from Lesotho, with no solution, but a renewed sense of hope.
After some initial tension, the meeting goes well when Azwindini announces that he's starting a fund to help out of work workers. Miriam finally comes clean with Mampho about Tshepo's absence. Mampho is furious and walks out on her.
Wednesday 25 November 2009Episode 1051 Peter, Mmbangiseni and Gizara are summoned to Thathe. Miriam shares her news with Meiki that Tshepo called and wants to talk.
Another child has gone missing.
Agnes wonders aloud if Azwindini is keeping her away from certain royal house related business as punishment. Meiki is back at Etwatwa and she tells Dineo to stay away from her man - she is going to be the only one who helps Mmbangiseni.
Thandaza is already beginning to push her own agenda. She receives an unnerving call from Miriam. Mmbangiseni is grateful to Meiki for her help and he feels really strong and ready for this upcoming court fight with Humbulani.
Mampho is disgusted with Miriam but doesn't tell Mpho the reason, whilst Mpho hankers after Thabisile. Azwindini is haunted by the two mothers' plea for him to find their children.
The police are going door to door talking to the villagers and Vho-Mukondeleli frets. Peter has done some digging but can't find out what it is that makes Mmbangiseni so sure that he has a case against Humbulani.
Pheko delivers the news Tshepo is dead. Miriam is beside herself with shock and grief.
Thursday 26 November 2009Episode 1052 The sad news of Tshepo's death adds to a dark cloud in a thunderous sky over Thathe. The Mokoena family grieves, whilst Mampho brews her disapproval and Pheko makes an admission.
Mushasha throws the dice but he can't see where the missing children are. Agnes and Azwindini share a moment, Catherine's u vhumbela is postponed and Agnes leaves for Lesotho.
Meiki tries to offer her mother some comfort but spoils it when she reveals that she and Mmbangiseni have reconciled. KK offers his condolences to Thandaza, showing the softer side of his character.
Azwindini understands that the police are working hard but he's worried as time goes by and the children are still missing. Mpho is organising the logistics of the funeral whilst Mampho nurses dark thoughts.
Vho-Masindi is about to show Azwindini the letter to Agnes but Susan walks in and interrupts the moment. Mushasha tells the parents of the missing children that he can't see where they are.
A bitter Mampho tells Miriam that she and Thabo aren't welcome at Tshepo's funeral.
Monday 30 November 2009Episode 1053 Azwindini is determined to compel Mmbangiseni into doing the right thing, but he merely walks out on the chief and the uncles. Thabisile thinks Tshedza should use Tshepo's death to their advantage, but KK is not keen on the idea. Thandaza shows up and puts Thabisile in her place.
Pheko welcomes Agnes, they unite in their grief. Mmbangiseni admits that he is driven by revenge, and Vho-Sara gets him to talk to Humbulani. Pheko and Agnes greet some new arrivals, but are surprised when there is no sign of Miriam.
Peter becomes the go-between for the Mukwevho's. Peter informs Azwindini that the court battle will be fierce, which means it will not be very discreet. Gizara blows his top when he finds out Vho-Sara has been communicating with Humbulani.
Pheko tells Agnes that things between him and Tshepo have never been better and they speculate on Miriam's whereabouts. Mushasha is frustrated at his inability to use his gift to help find the children and there's still no sign of them.
The chief and his mother reflect on the missing children. Azwindini cannot abide Mmbangiseni's arrogance. Miriam blames herself for Tshepo's death and believes she can't attend the funeral.
